Hello everyone. 

 

Lovely community you have here. I'm so glad I finally joined it, instead of just lurking around, stalking the threads :D

I've discovered Unibet Poker a few months ago ( rediscovered, I've played also on the old site years and years ago ). 

This time, I got really hooked. I love everything about it. The small site, familiar feeling that you get when you play. The design, the avatars. I loved it even when it gave me the error no something, many times I was really tired after 9 hours of office work and still wanted to play, but the site took care of me and sent me to sleep earlier :D ( I'm really not sarcastic, I'm thankful ! ) so now I regularly play microstakes after work and sometimes in the weekends, placing a bet here and there, some roulette, some slots :D but mostly poker ! <3 Unibet !

I have two small questions.

1. When are the results for the 15th of August Butler League shown and the money paid? I've got a 3rd place, a 9th and an 11th :D with the alias '' PurrrPurrr '' or '' AceAfterAce '', I can't really remember ( poker goes well with lemonade + mint + rum :D )

2. I've placed 10th in the Rio Showdown MTT series ( there were many long nights and many long stares from my boss the next days, me looking like a zombie, but it was worth it ! ) When are the results made official and prizes given ?

I have just calculated the league but I couldn't find any of the aliases you listed above. Here is the results table, are you one of these aliases?

Hey guys. I'm sorry that I respond so late, just got home from work.

Indeed Jamie, I was " Arctic " last Monday, totally forgot about that. I have received the 50Euros, big THANK YOU ! I want to see and most of all enjoy the Butler League's twitch stream 2.0 very soon :D

Andrew, the news of Unibet 2.0 gets me very excited and optimistic about the new adventures and awesome ideas you mad scientists will implement on an upgraded and better platform, I have no doubt that it will be LEGENDARY !

You are a biiig fresh breeze on the online poker scene and I sincerely hope that you will remain like this, no HUDs, no massive multitabling allowed, no chat, no bots and growing a healthy community on twitch and here ( by players for players is truly a good motto to live by ).

Hopefully, I will get the money/I will qualify for Unibet Open Bucharest to meet and greet you personally in my country, it would be fantastic to hang and exchange some ideas, maybe provide you with a tour of city's best locations to eat and have fun or just shake your hands in gratitude for the kickass job you are doing !

Aaand I'm truly disapointed. I mean, really angry and upset. Ever since Sunday when the final tournament ended, everytime I logged in, I was congratulated that I am 10th in the RIO MTT series, just for tonight to come from work and find out that in the final standings I'm 11th. I do not know why or how is that possible... I've announced my girlfriend, my family about the good result and now I find out that I will receive a qualification ticket... That's awesome !

The results/points for the MTTs on Thursday and Friday had to be manually added this week by the poker team. The popup you got when you logged in did not include these two events which is why the final table standings are different.

There was no general announcement about this. Imagine that I've just now registered for this community and I haven't checked the thread on 2+2 since I don't know how many months ago.
Imagine that you are just a player that plays for fun and you are not involved in any community ( you're not a regular ), you just come home from work, play 2-3 hours per night, enjoying the competition, listening to some podcasts, drinking some mojitos and trying to obtain a holiday ( or I don't know, any other great promotion Unibet regularly offers ) while having fun.
At the end of the race, you are kind of happy with your result that is official in the software that you played on, so you are announcing your dear ones about your achievement, taking your position for granted. Remember, you do not have time or interest to acces any other information source, you just like to play and that's it.
[ I truly love Unibet, I was not lying or kissing ass in the previous posts. I think is the best poker site at this moment, offering the best overall experience for players like me. The complete casino, sports betting and poker package is delivered in a beautiful manner. ]
Three days later you receive a 250E Unibet Open ticket instead of the 750E package for your place. You try to reach out for support and to ask why and how this happened and you go from being a " Promoter " to a " Neutral " or worse  a " Detractor " depending on how the issue is handled and explained to you.
So far, this is my experience with this situation, but I'm sure it will get sorted out when the good guys will have the time to handle it :) I trust you UNIBETORS !

 Extremely unfortunate & I understand why you'd be angry. However, as  mentioned a few results had to be manually added.

As a good gesture, Unibet could offer you a couple free tickets. That would be the fairest way to resolve this.

 You're welcome, it's only fair when the notification in the client is leading you to believe you have won the higher prize and we'll also be applying the same logic to everyone else who was misinformed about their prize.

The €750 package is a £220 seat into a £40k GTD UK Tour event and roughly €500 in cash for travel and accommodation expenses. Your name will be put down for the Glasgow event in October but you're able to move it to the Manchester event in December if you prefer. Hi everyone!

 

My name is Marcin. I am 24 years old poker enthusiast from Poland. I took part at Rio MTT showdown series. This is my story:

As soon as I realized that Unibet is starting nice MTT promotion with great prices I decided to take a shot. The start was a great one, as I won the first tournament and I was leading the pack. Later is was much harder to get some big points but i maintain scoring and keep my position at the top two. I was so happy, when on Monday 22nd when I logged into poker client it was announcement that I finish in the second place (print screen), so that mean that I had won a London trip and 1,5k euro for travel and other expenses. With great excitement  I said everyone in my family that I finally won something big in poker and I was so proud that I proved that hard work and determination finally come out with a great reward.   It looks like a great day.....

It is like  perfect story, but it is not. After many days of waiting I saw on Unibet website something like final results, and in my disbelieve I realized that I am in 5th position. I felt disappointed, but after few hours I said to myself that 5th place is also quit good with San Sebastian trip and 1k euro.  But it is not the end of the story. Today it is 10 days since end of promotion, and I had received nothing, absolutely nothing. No one contact with me, no one explain to me what happened with the ranking with my second place.  Few days ago I send emial to support and all I got back was " you have to wait"      Now i feel really really disappointed and I really don't know how it is possible to spend big money to a great promotions and ends up with such a mess.  Many of my friends asked me about Unibet poker as they know I won nice prize and I invited them to play on Your site as I was so excited with my 2nd place.  Tell me what should I tell them now when they ask me if Unibet Poker is a good and safe place to play...?

 Unibet is 100% safe, you can rest assured of that. Your 2nd to 5th place was because some information had to be input manually. Just wait for support to respond here, 

If you scroll up, you can see  was in a similar position as you and everything worked out for him.

Congrats on your result. From what i've read in this thread,there were some problems with the final results,because some of them had to be added manualy. But the guys here for sure will come up with a response ASAP ,so i guess as soon as  will look into your problem,you will have a decision. Don't get dissapointed,everything will be solved eventualy :P

I also have not received the 750e package ( no expenses money in the account, no contact from support, just the confirmation in this thread ). But, I completely trust the staff and the site. I have no doubt that they will deliver on their promise. We are just two guys out of thousands + they traveled a lot, been busy with Unibet Open in DK + the new software development negotiations. So, don't panic and don't worry, when the guys have a little free time gap, they will take care of our payments and so on. It may not be snappy, but the trip that you've won is 12 months available, read the terms and conditions, and in my case the tournament is in october or december, so I'm ok with waiting two, three days, no biggie.

Firstly, apologies again for the mess in the aftermath of this promotion. I'm grateful for the players who have defended us in here, but we should have made sure everyone was contacted ASAP after the promotion ended.

We have a list of all players who were incorrectly notified about their leaderboard position while the leaderboards on site were down, and we're going to credit all players negatively affected with the cash difference between the value of the prize they were notified about and the prize they eventually won. , this means you have won the trip to San Sebastian but that we'll also be crediting you with an extra €1,500 in cash (an extra €1,000 for the difference in cost between London and San Sebastian trip and an extra €500 for the difference in travel expenses). , we'll credit you with the €750 package you should have won on top of your €250 ticket as agreed the other day - your €500 in expenses should arrive in your account shortly and you'll receive an email abou the UK Tour in the coming days. The compensation across all players affected comes to a total of €8,300.

Players who have won travel experiences should be contacted by Unibet customer support tomorrow to explain what will happen next, and I'm in the process of passing your details onto the travel company who will contact you seperately to organise your trip for you. We wanted to wait until everything had been resolved until doing this, but I appreciate that this wasn't ideal as it has meant you've had to wait in the dark until now. Please be assured though that your prize is safe and we are a trustworthy company.

We have a much larger promotion coming in October with similar prizes, so I'll make sure we have learned the lessons from this and that the October payouts run a lot smoother!
