€4000 gtd sunday entitled

One of the biggest tournaments you can find in the lobby is the Sunday Entitled.

It seems like a nice tournament because you can't do a direct buy-in, so everyone must start at a lower level and move up. This will encourages lower buyin players more (because not only bigger players with a direct buy-in will enter) and so give them a better opportunity to take a shot at one of the biggest mtt of unibet.

The only bad thing is the payout, it is the same as the regular mtts. For many players it will be an accomplishment on its own to reach the Sunday Entitled, but then they will find out that it will be a long way to reach the prices. What if they go out as the bubbleboy (0€ and not 280€+, see pic) are they going to try  it again next week?

Because it isn't a direct buyin it would be nicer to have more % of players finishing in the money like 30% or even much more (even a price with the same value of the ticket would be good for most player "90€"). Or you can make the suffering for the bubbleboy more enjoyable, like giving him a ticket for the next Sunday Entitled en the 2the bubbleboy a 25€ Sunday Entitled ticket ...

I disagree with your point. Players can start qualifying at really low buyin stages and give it a shot.

More important however to attract players, especially recreationals is a decent first prize. They open up the lobby and see ''wheew 1.4K on top, i gotta try qualifying for that'' and then they can start for as little as 5€ (or even 1€, not sure?!) and theoretically turn that into a 4-digit figure. I think this is far more appealing to recreational players than a payoff of e.g. 800, 620, 480, 420, 360, 320, 300, 280 , 240, 180

Just my 2 cents

I agree with , the payout structure is perfect. It's only a once a week tournament, so I'd prefer if it'd pay out a smaller field. Makes it more exciting for those that do qualify. The blind structure is deep, so plenty of play.

I debate
Should I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is great
Or should I let the world see the real me and not hide this pain
I tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can't
I'ma probably die this way

If you take all those qualification ladder and you can finish first in the final, better to take 1400 because you deserve it. 6 places paid out of 39, thats fair enough, same as every tournament, and its good like that. If you qualify for a WSOP or UO live tournament, they dont change the payout system because you had a long and hard qualification process. And actually this sunday entitled is every single sunday...

Hajhh, would be nice to win that ❤️

You wouldnt have to take that much off the top though. Can still keep it as a 4 figure prize. The mincash in this is like 3 buyins which isn't the case in standard MTTs. This could actually be much less since SE is a qualifier only MTT.

You could make mincash smaller and take a small amount from the top to pay a few extra players:
4k GTD

1200
800
560
430
320
240
180
150
120

Can defintaly be tweaked some more but you get the idea.

Maybe OP is right that there could be more participants with extra places paid. People do a lot of work to qualify just to be bust our more often than not. In the long run it will even out when you ship the full 1400 but most players dont play every week, and perhaps the less payout places is one of the reasons why.

Not actually Old.

I personally don't think that giving out money for the bubble is a good idea. This tourney is the king of the tours at Unibet and if you want to conquer the mountain you need to all all your best and don't hoping for a helping hand. What I support is the deal opportunity in the bubble. If every player agree they can give the buyin back to the bubble (but that means they will win less).

I like most of the socialistic priniciples adapted by Unibet.  But protecting recs in MTT's is just counter productive.  It's like serving light beer to someone that wants to get messed up.. it's annoying as he'll just drink more and feel mad that he had to.  He wants to get drunk so stop protecting him.

MTT's are like that.  Players want big 1st prizes and don't give a :cathappy: ❤️ :cathappy: if over a thousand game sample that they'd be better off if more people got paid etc.  Recs truly don't care about this tidbit of information.  They are playing MTT's for that big score and if Unibet tries to protect them they will just go to another site which is a disaster for everyone.

The success of SpinnGo's or big first prize lotto tickets should be examples of how recs think.

Since it's nearly impossible to run up 50 buy ins at cash/SnG without legit skill it's imperative that recs be protected.  But this bankroll boost is possible with MTT's and it's possible without much skill besides a single lucky afternoon.

The way we make the payout schedule is up to Robin, but I want to make a more general point as the same argument applies to low rake at NL4 too.  Many casual players don't know how much the rake is and don't move sites based on it.  But because it's low, more of them are still around a month or a year later.  I think this is why it took a long time for sites to think about ecological promotions - a lot of the time, they won't change short term player behaviour by much.
