gillvs77 Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 tonight the final 200m women athleticsDafne Schippers is favorite to win @1.55 (after a good semi-final) at about same odds now as before Olympics started 3 days ago Schippers was available @2.60 (after a 5th place in the 100m final), last night Schippers won the 1st heat of the semi-final against Elaine Thompson (gold 100m) who finished second; Thompson ran well in last 100m (not faster but the second 100m looked better then Beijing 2015, were Thompson more or less died in the last 15m) but this night she didnt attempt near finish to beat Schippers and possible couldnt do it neither, becos Schippers was to much aheadIMO Schippers is the best woman on the 200m and she will most likely take gold tonight, Schippers ran world best this year in Oslo 21.93s, last night she ran again 21.96s in the semis (so she will most likely go under this time in the final), Schippers start in lane #4, Tori Bowie (#5) and Elain Thompson (#6) ran both 22.13s in the semis (but both will also go faster in the final)good luck! odds @2.60 three days ago =) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
