I have long time thinking to make a fresh start to this blog and start a new bankroll challenge. I made a cash out on my account and plan is start from zero. I had a 16005 Poker Bonus Points and a few tournament tickets. Main goal is to build a bankroll from those Bonus points, but I can´t decide which one is the best to build up my roll from zero: SNGs or Cash?

Any help? :happyshy: @GR1ZZL3R @MadAdo @FreedoM @psrquack

It always comes up to how much time do you have for poker, are you in a rush to build it up, are you pron to tilt a lot, what do you enjoy more, do you have internet problems, also what is easier for you do improve off the felt, if you had to take a step back and think trough everything you played to date, whats the game variant you performed the best, also what is the plan once you turn those points in cash?

I'm sure if chill on the couch for a while and ask yourself this questions many others will pop in your head and you can write down what is the best for you and what is next once you achieve that.

Play Smart, Run Hot and Win a Lot. 👍 ♥️ :cash:

Firstly you must have some cash on your acccout to play all the Unibet Open centrolls this week. If you have around 30 cents then no problem, just play the tourneys. If not there are many ways to make some cents(buying cheep tickets or €4 cash game etc).

Advent calendar will also around the corner so I would wait for it and check the opportunities. This means I would start the challenge from January and I would use the points just clearing the best offers from challenge/monthly mission.

I don't know how lucky do you feel, but if you have some time and you are at least a breakeven player at cash game, then the daily 105 flops at NL4 aka. Santa's challenge would be also great.

WuDu has a brighter horizon what is at SNG's going at the moment.

When you have some some spare time you would also consider what game format is your favourite. If you are both good in SNG and cash then choose what you better like.

@YlarP

As you see already, opinions can differ and it's difficult to be specific. If you are not sure which way to go I'd give both a fair tryout before deciding, although many players can and do play multiple variations. Why not call your points two bankrolls of 8,000 points each, buy some sng tickets and play those for a few days or a  week, then try the same with some cash tickets. You may find you favour one form over another or indeed enjoy both.

There are obvious pros and cons for both, there's plenty of info to be found, but I'll repeat what Jonathan Little stresses over and over, "Find a game you can beat then play it............. a lot."

Ultimately it's your decision, whatever you go for keep us updated, but above all enjoy it.

GL. 👍:cash:

Anyone have a good and simple spreadsheet to track the results? I use the oldschool one at the moment (pen & paper) :happyshy:

I guess Spreadsheet Master @Purps can help with that, if hes got some time.

Simple for Cash if you get the results monthly from Unibet it go with something like this:

| Month | Stake | Hands | Winrate BB/100 |

You bring a good point, i should start to build a sheed myself and keep track of everything. :happyshy:

I`ve played 70 SNGs so far and the results are not so good as should be. :Disappointed: There are a lot of things what I must improve to be a better SNG player. I think one of the errors so far is bubble play, played total 70 SNGs and finished 3rd place 24 times (1st and 2nd - 25 times).
