Sorry, no more screenshots for now.  We're planning to start the closed beta soon, which will be under NDA.  Then later in the month we'll let people post whatever they want from the client.

The screenshots are from maximum table size, so it looks a bit weird.  The cards and chip counts scale better on small tables than in 1.0.

I'm interested in adding Fast again (we had it for the first few months of 1.0 but it didn't run), but it's going to be 2017 at best.  There're just too many things that need building first, like iPhone client, multi-tabling on mobile, etc.

The changes I have in mind aren't too drastic, but it'll definitely run differently than it does on other sites.  Fast is too tight, which is a) boring and b) bad for casual players as they will make much bigger mistakes than normal.

I haven't endured the freezing like others so I'm happy with version 1.xx.  Having said that I'm excited with what 2.0 can do for players and to see what this does for Unibet as a company.  All the best guys.

Just been reading some of the press stuff about it, really looking forward to it now.
Love the idea of being able to watch a stream within the client rather than keep switching windows, that would be awesome!

Please, if there is going to be an in-client streaming feature, don't make it play automatically ... or at least have a toggle like on youtube for autoplay, and once you toggle it you don't have to worry about it again. Software/sites that just play audio/video content (that you don't expect) automatically, are so annoying. And an added issue with playing automatically is that it would really , REALLY screw over people on metered connections, which expect low bandwith consumption from a poker client and then get hit by gigabytes of downloaded data from the streaming feature. Some sort of dynamic thumbnail that lets people know that the channel is live and what is currently broadcasted there would be cool.

 The streaming integration stuff is going to come further down the line - for launch, it'll just treat casino and poker tables as if they were the same thing for table tiling/priority/etc.

This is also something that we'll probably build further down the line.  The launch hand replayer is just a normal replayer.

Yes, most things from 1.0 will also be in 2.0.  We want to make it so that it doesn't seem like a huge change to move to the new client.

I think I read something about leaderboards in the new client.

Can you explain that idea, ? Is that some kind of counter of the amount of SNGs you played? And the players with the most games played get rewarded?

We're interested in having a "Hall of Fame" kind of section, which lists things like total amount you've won in MTT (gross, not net), most hands won in a row, etc.  This isn't finalised yet though, and I don't have a definite ETA.

Now when new client is about to released in october, maybe extend Unibet Open Slot to october (rename it of course) and award loyalty points instead of tickets? It would be nice boost to players to get some bonus shop action :)

I really like this idea. You could have a 'Hall of Fame' tab in the Poker client, & the person must 'Opt in' to be listed. That way incase someone doesn't want to be included, they don't have to Opt.

We're sorry to say that version 2 of our poker client will be delayed until 1st December. We don't want to take any risks with the launch, and this delay will ensure we don't.

The plan at the moment is that we'll launch version 2 as web only on Oct 3rd for all markets except BE, DE, DK, EE, RO and UK. This will be the traditional one-table client. We're also going to launch the closed beta on that date.

In Late October, the aforementioned markets will be able to access the web client.

On 1st November, we'll release version 2 of the client on Android tablet

And then on 1st December, we'll release version 2 of the client on desktop, iPhone, iPad and Android phone.

Shame we wont see the client sooner but imo its a better idea to take that bit longer to release and catch as many problems as possible in beta. :)

Some feedback and a question 👍

It would be great if there was some way to get your own stats, even if it was tucked away in a number of menu options so not immediately obvious, so only people that specifically searched for it would find it. So for sngs you can enter a date range and buy-in limit and get your own profit or loss. Also for cash similiar and mtt, etc. Just to avoid us having to contact Unibet to check our stats.

It would also be useful if there was some kind of double trouble counter tucked away, doesn't have to show you how much you lost maybe a progress bar - that simply showed you how close you are to qualifying for each double trouble - which could go up and down in the week, until the deadline. Could actually be good for the games too, as people might play more if they know they are close to hitting a double ticket.

One question I have is about the poker RNG, is this going to be using the same code / software algorithms in the new client (because I like the one that is currently on Unibet) - I know in theory every implementation will be the same, but i was just wondering if it was possible to confirm if the code that generates the cards will be identical or if it's changed with the new client.

 But wouldn't the Double Trouble progress bar do the opposite more often? When people see they are at -20 to the cent they stop playing? 

As for the poker client RNG, I think the RNG is server based, while the new software is just a client side interface, so I would guess that even though a large part of the interface code might be changed, the server side code might remain mostly the same. I might be wrong tho :)

 yes perhaps. Maybe there could be a switch in the user accounts at Unibet's end, so that if someone specifically contacted support and asked for access to their stats in game etc, they could tick a button, and then a few more options would crop up in that user's client to make it transparent what your winnings/losses are in any given period. So it was only available to people that specifically requested access to full stats etc.

The RNG is server-side, and the server isn't changing much.  Most of the changes are client-side.  But random is random.

December 1? Im crying. :waterfall: Im using a MacBook Air, and the client use so much of the CPU that its nearly impossible to do anything beside playing poker, specially betting. The sites sometimes frozen. I just missed to place my bet on Villarreal because  of a ❤️♥️❤️ty freeroll, arghhh, im upset on the whole world. 😠

 If you have a mobile device, you can just download the Unibet Sportsbook App. or go to their site and place bets that way. That's what I do.
