Rio and Promotions/Competitions?

We're getting close to the opening ceremony in Rio, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can spice up the event a little with some community promotions :)

i know it will be a plenty of promotions starting with Rio games but i have something not related with the promotions to be build or etc. is more about what i have seen lately in the community promotions t&c : people from Romania must deposit x amount but uk people must have x likes .

i want to know from the moment before promotions will start what are the t&c regarding those promotions? what it will be count to be take part into it : deposit , activity etc.

it will be nice if people would know those before and not during the promotions

me for example i made a deposit more than 30 days but i have daily activity on the unibet products so probably this must be one of the criteria since is no reason to make another deposit.

Thank you for your feedback, @polarbear. I'm not 100 % sure I get your point regarding the T&C, as these have always been communicated from day one - with the one exception being the rank 8 promo, as it's been running since the community started, and things have changed a lot since then. It's simply a case of people not reading the T&C before posting.

Feel free to suggest another criteria, if you feel the current ones aren't fair. We can't have a criteria based on gameplay, as this criteria could be fulfilled just be making use of Free Bets, Free Bonus Money or Free Spins.

With the promotions we want to reward the following members:

- Members who contribute a lot to the community and play occasionally on Unibet

- Members who contribute occasionally and play regularly on Unibet

- Members who contribute a lot to the community and play regularly on Unibet

We do not want to reward members that:

- Are only on the community for the promotions

- Only play on Unibet, when they get something for free on the community (unless they're really contributing with a lot to the community)

I think a tipster league would be nice on community. Every day you post 5-10 question (there is plenty event anyway) and the best tipsters after Rio can get some rewards. Questions can be like 

- Who will win the 400 butterfly swimming,

- How many sets will be played  on Murray-Goffin

- H2H on daily races (bike, swimming, whatever)

I agree w above. I think its great fun with for example 25 events, where you should predict something, and the one performing best is the " Olympic wiz champion".

Examples of questions could be:

Who will win the male and/or female soccer tournament ?

Who will win the handball male and/or female tournament?

Who will win the volleyboll male and or / female tournamnet?

Will Froome get an olympic medal ?

Will Cuba win most male boxing golds ?

How many (gold?) medals will Usain Bolt get ?

Will Sweden get more medals than Denmark  ( Yes/no /same)

Will Stenson get a medal ?

and so on.

Somewhere around 25 or so will make it hard enough and the price for the winner could be a badge or something.

I can even volunteer to keep track , if i get all predictions in an excel sheet.

First .. Sorry for my english. (if you can't undestand what I want to say, pls ask and I will try to explain again) :D

I think one kind of promo should sound like: "corect score challenge"(soccer,tenis,etc) or "first goal scored by.."(soccer only).

It should be something like: If you hit corect score/name who score first goal you win 1 point.

It will be a final rank.

It's an common competition but very simple and interesting.

Its similar to my idea, but much harder to predict, there is a chance that noone will hit the correct score :smileylol:

It must be simple, daily 5 question regarding that day, for every hit you get a point, and there is a leaderboard for the entire Games. Would be fun.

Daily "free pick" event and name daily winner of it, get it right answer and receave for example 5 euros free bet, deposit bonus 100% wageringx1 up to 20 euros, 10 free spins, bingo tickets, poker tickets....

Well, this is big one, which countries get medals, choose atleast 5 events and name medalists of those, 3 best results having community members could get after Rio2016 badges and for example 20-50 euros free bet.

And maybe an extra competition where knowledge isn't required:

Country with the most (gold, silver, bronze, total) medals.

Number of (world, olympic) records that will be broken.

Since there will be 42 sports total, here's what I was thinking:

- A seperate board for Rio (Unibet Community / Competition & Promotions / Community Promotions / Rio)

- A seperate thread for each event (If 42 events is far too many, we could have around 5 - 10).

- To determine which sports we should include, create a thread & Community will vote.

- Once the seperate board is set up, you can ask a series of questions relating to the sport (Refer to other members above for question ideas)

maybe a competition (genre TdF/Golf promo's) in the atletics 100m men

its from 5-7 august, you have Preliminary Round, first Round, Semi Finals and Final

think the semi finals will be 3 heats with best 2 of each + overall 2 fastest times to advance to final (preliminary probably to much to include, dunno about first round its pretty fast after preliminaries; morning/evening)

And there could be same criterias to all community members to take a part contests, for example one deposit must been made in last 2 weeks and have to made at least one bet to Rio Olympic, for daily contest to qualify it could be same criterias + at least 10 members liked posts to community in membership, contest week not counting

Famus qoutes , who winn this and that. 

Also please give total free things as "prize" to whoever winn, because it is not evryone who have possebillity to deposit\have monney right now for using on "gamling".

Like me I have 2 take a trip to Laos actually this weekend , so my budget is a little tight lol...so nice "nature" and so mutch to spend cash on... sorry to say but it is difficullt to think or wrap my brain around gambling when....well you would know if you been in the triangle before ^_^

Also maybe have a "competition" based on a total Olympic games :

Unibet Staff VS Community members, who winn many diffrent "stages" get a serius nice price, like rank 1-3.

Something who will act like a main event here in ouer nice community.

I assume you're from one of the countries with stricter requirements due to promotion abuse. In this case I think Unibet can make an exception (Assuming there's another requirement that can be met instead)  for you because you are a contributing member & a delight to have in the community. Tough to do a good promo when people won't be too familiar with the sports and who will be representing each Country.

 

But I think I have an idea that you can work with.  "The Decathlon"

Pick say 5-10 events (most popular) and post which ones on here and let the community members insert Country for each event.  10 points for Gold, 5 for Siver, 3 for bronze.  The member with the highest points wins.

 

Example:  100 metre Dash,  I pick Jamaica and Bolt or whomever wins Silver and I'd get 5 points.  No points if the Country doesn't get a medal.

 

tbh this is a tough promo to pull off if you want to ask people to wager.  Thanks for doing something though.

Mostly for the interest in betting in these events, i'd like to single out Football, Rugby, Tennis and Golf.

Place a bet of 5 euro or more on these events and receive 5 free spins/ticket to a freeroll?

Name the medal winners in these sports, Gold - 20 pts, Silver 10 pts, Bronze 5 pts and add up the total at the end, winner gets prize/badge.

Swimming, Athletics, boxing, cycling to name a few all deserve a mention but maybe better to focus on just a few?
