Paintbrush
As I am now the recipient of in some cases a 2 digit betting limit, and that's pence not pounds, there isn't really any point in me frequenting the community, so please feel free to delete this account.I wish you all well and hope that the remainder of the year brings you winners, au revoir. Magicadil
The more popular matches have higher limits. The less known matches have lower limits. For example, On tennis WTA/ATP matches you can usually bet in the hundreds. However, on a badminton match with 10-1 odds, max bet is usually around $7. Which sports were you betting on? 1 I debateShould I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is greatOr should I let the world see the real me and not hide this painI tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can'tI'ma probably die this way
Zipfil
Hmmm...are there any "betting limit" on Unibet ??That is a new thing I havent heard\seen before, if this is true please someone from "staff" confirm this for me.I hate any "limit"...if Unibet want me as customer and they put a "bet" limit on my account or blocked me somehow for gamble on their site I would not be happy to say it in a nice way...this have to be a "error" or something.Just FYI it is first I hear about it, never seen that on Unibet...not yet anyway and I do play :) Nothing is impossible, the impossible only take some time. Sports betting was made for the recreational player, so if you start crushing a certain sport, the amount you'll be able to wager will be reduced. The good thing though is there are plenty of other sports to choose from. 2 I debateShould I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is greatOr should I let the world see the real me and not hide this painI tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can'tI'ma probably die this way
desinere
, maybe this should change resolved, now it is unresolved. If someone is not willing to use community that is own decision , Paintbrush says in his post that "please feel free to delete this account" but as I see this no need any kind of action. Apoxxy91
baaaCasino, poker, bingo was made for recreational player ??? nope they were made to make more money. Thats why P* introduce sportsbook(for some countries) and casino to their portfolio. Because this increase their income ...Most money are made by companies by: 1. Casino 2. Sportsbook 3. Poker (only small % of rake)
Magicadil
I think you misunderstood what I said. Sportsbooks want recreational players, they dont want experts. Thats why if you dominate a certain sport, you will face limits. Solution MarcoV Posted July 28, 2016 Solution Share Posted July 28, 2016 At Unibet we have general limits on all bets - just as all other bookmakers do. These limits are crucial to our business to help us manage liabilities and offer customers the best possible prices. The general limits on the most popular sports are very high and the vast majority of customers will never reach a maximum bet stake alert. If you at some point are faced with hitting a maximum bet stake limit, you always have the option to send the full bet amount requested for manual approval. 2 Former community moderator
DJ
TBH the limits are annoying but there are a few markets where you can still stake a few hundred BTW - any chance of a maximum stake button so the max is automatically migrated to the slip amount rather than having to type in 1111 to get the maximum stake and then doing it manually? Jon82dixon
Have do you remove these limits on nearly all my bets now it only lets me place 40p and sometimes nothing how can you send the request for manual approval
joebanan
I,d like to that know that as well and why my bets were restricted in the 1st place. I wasn,t crushing anything - i was actually losing.I,ve tried sending a few bets for manual approval but have had them all rejected - despite them being the most popular matches and bettter prices on other sites. I didn,t want to go on other sites though as i wanted to take part in the tennis promo but theres no way i can keep up with people getting thousands of points when my bets are resticted to a cpl of quid ThxP
ibeencapped
Thats all BS. You don't like regular winners. I can't place a bet on ANYthing anymore. Regardless of how big that league market is. Yes thats right. UCL. World Cup. You name it. I'm capped on them all by what you refer to as "your odds suppliers". Even a 10 euro stake gets sent for your perusal and bounces back as rejected. I used to (i still do ...just not at Unibet) place league, group and competition outrights. Winners, Relegations. Teams H2H, League Top assists. League Top scorers. Tournament Top Scorer, Team top scorers ( a fave) No 90 minute chasers. Mostly 5000-10000 stake (skr) with odds per 3-4 fold slip averaging 2.20Between 2011 -2012 I "took" 99000 skr with a 20000 total deposit. Between 2013 and 2017 I even turned 30000skr into 340000skr. You'd have better records of that than me anyway. Those numbers dont really look so scary when you look at the time involved. 45000 euros in 6 years? Whats your problem? The fact is that you Want an unlevel pitch. Cake and eat it syndrome. Hook in the losing players and kick out the Actual competition. Thats the ticket Govenor! Why are the odds not lower if your risk assessment is so important? Ive had bets rejected and immediately asked a friend to place the same bet, no problem for him. Twice my amount too. I tried 1000skr on a H2H and got rejected. He placed 2000....Im bored of this now.... You'll never accept my bets anymore anyway...Hope someone who isnt capped reads this and starts winning regularly. Take care all....
RayL
Hi @ibeencapped, welcome to the Community. I get that you are upset and from your point of view there is something malicious going on in the background, I can't say that I agree with your point of view, but I respect it nonetheless. Now to give you some facts as well. Limits, overall are used all over the industry, it is something widely used by all betting companies, no surprise there as I am sure you are aware of this. However it is not ok that you can't place any bets and this is not necessarily tied to the limits, it looks more like an error in our sports trader's systems. I've sent a notification to have a closer look at your account and remove any error that might prevent you from placing a bet. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a response and let you know as soon as I know more :). /Ray Former Community Moderator
suolasilakka
general limits, hah. I can't even place these 5e freebets on any odds that are higher than 5 on semi-major events such as uefa champion's league qualifiers because of these general limits. On european qualifiers i managed to place as high as 7 euros, so please keep telling people that there are general limits to all sports when they indeed mean that their accounts have been limited to laughable stakes.
VPPO
Tried to place a bet on politics, at very high odds (151). Lilmit is 16 CENTS. Why do you even offer?Same with all the small markets, like volleyball and minor football leauges, limits of 5e or less. You should be honest about your limits and show the bettable amount at a certain odd, like Pinnacle does. Your limits are completely arbitrary.
