What a stage that awaits the riders today! Just 146 km but Col de la Forclaz de Montmin, de Bisanne and Mont Blanc should be a guarantee for some great cycling.

The stage profile can be seen here: http://racecenter.letour.fr/#/stageprofile

Once again the challenge is to beat me /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png

You should select one rider from each of the below 3 categories, and if you end up with more points than me, I'll add a € 5 Free Bet to your account. You'll only be eligible to the Free Bet, if you've made a deposit in the past two months.

Points are earned as follows:
1st place = 20 points
2nd place = 19 points
3rd place = 18 points
etc.

The 3 categories of riders are:

Category 1:
Chris Froome
Richie Porte
Ilnur Zakarin
Rafal Majka
Fabio Aru
Jarlinson Pantano
Pierre Rolland
Romain Bardet

Category 2:
Vincenzo Nibali
Warren Barguil
Rui Costa
Nairo Quintana
Diego Rosa
Thomas de Gendt
Julian Alaphilippe
Adam Yates
Tejay van Garderen

Category 3:
Any rider not mentioned above

As this might be the last Tour competition, I thought I should try something different and haven't picked the favorite, Froome. I've got these three guys:
1. Majka
2. Yates
3. Mollema

Please note that this time you're only allowed to pick ONE of the riders which I've picked.

You'll need to add your prediction before 13:30 CET (might extend it, and might close before, depending on how the stage develops)

Richie Porte, Vincenzo Nibali, Wout Poels

I debate
Should I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is great
Or should I let the world see the real me and not hide this pain
I tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can't
I'ma probably die this way

It's a bit weird indeed, but I've split it according to the odds. You get odds 13 on him to finish in top 3 today :)

hehe, its still a question if Mollema will recover or fall back, its not looking good, I totally agree, but he might find new powers after TT, think TT is not as hard as a mountain stage, therefor I'm also afraid to back for example F. Aru, looked good in TT but what after 3 climbs and 100km in the sun

@Yates @10 for places (1-3) isnt bad neither, yesterday he was not good nidividual, but he's a young rider, always up for a challenge :smileywink:

(after yesterdays race top 3 in GC might be more for Porte, Aru or Bardet, but still I hope for some surprises)

@testuser1 what about R. Bardet is he really in 2 categories or is it a mistake?
