goodformbrah
Hello, i am resident in England, playing SnG's on Unibet full time but i am wanting to travel to Pattaya in Thailand for 60 days in January next year (Apartment on an Airbnb) to play poker and see the nightlife and then come back to England1) Would i need to open a Thailand bank account or could i just use my British bank account, if i do so would that be difficult?2) I understand that i may need to prove proof of residency once i play on say Unibet when i open an account Thailand, would that be a problem as i am going through an AirBnb and there will not exactly be bills in my name? BonusPater
If it’s just 60 days, it should all be fine, and you can continue playing as you’ve done hitherto :) @Zipfil should know all the good places in Pattaya, in case you need some recommendations :D

Pattaya is one of the last places in entire Asia that I'd stay for two months :D

goodformbrah
Thanks for reply, what would you say is the best island to visit for a 60 days or should i go to a couple of different ones? Yeah that is the Visa i am going to get. I just want a nice beach with a little bit of partying on the side :) @BonusPater
BonusPater
Depends on a lot of different things. Personally I'd probably go to Ko Samui and head to Ko Pha-ngan for the full moon party. The Phuket area also has a good mix of party and beach. If the budget and everything allows it, I'm also sure you wont regret a short trip to either Japan or South Korea, if you haven't been before. Shouldn't be for the beaches, obviously (even though a place like Okinawa should be amazing - haven't been there yet, but will probably go next year), but seeing two such different parts of Asia is a great experience on its own. There's certainly also party opportunities in both SK and Japan, and the food is ❤️♥️❤️ amazing - not that it's bad in Thailand!

Zipfil
@goodformbrah @testuser11: Just want a beach and little partying...dont think it is possible...the little bit me think.2: Go to a 7\11 and buy: 1 small boll and 1 big one, fill sand in the small one and water in the big one, put in room on the floor, have beach party and play Poker XD3: Go here and read: https://www.thaivisa.com/4: Remember to set your DNS server on both Lan and wifi to googles, then you dont get sencored from LOS, known as Land of Smiles but I call it Land of scams lol5: My personally private area is Mairood....south almost next to Hat Lek, some kilometres south of Trat city, verry nive and they actually have a nice wifi.....google that place ;)All the fun you want you find in Bangkok or a strange place where there is no GSM cover, the fun is there, you will see.... it depend on what you want...Bonuspater is right, Japanese girls are angels...to bad SE Asia is so negative to foregneirs...ehmm..they love you if you are white but if you are colorde I strongly recomend stay away from Cambodia.....and do not anywhere be agressive....if you end upp ind a severe situation, just smile say, sorry and walk away, remember police always come after something have happend even if you call them....If you want to get inside LOS in Suwernabum you need 20K THB cash on you , the IO may ask if you have it, you also need proof of stay, adress and so on...Dont behave like a holligan...seen what happend to some of them...when they are together not to mutch but later they get hunted when they are alone ;)To say like this Asia is a nice place if you are nice, othervise you will feel the full force of the bad part and that I dont recomend..they have laws and they have laws if you understand....Evrything is upp2u Nothing is impossible, the impossible only take some time. startelver
No need to open an account from Thailand , not sure if Unibet will allow it since all gambling is illegal in Thailand. So just open your account in the UK before you travel. I have spent many months in Thailand and there's no issues to connect to the Poker client , but Sportsbook is not working from a Thai IP address. I guess again because sportsbetting is illegal from Thailand .
