Hello,

After some ideas really. As title says i have downloaded the poker client on my desktop. Works fine on laptop (win 8 ) but I can't get the program to open on my desktop which is windows 7.

The Account is set to Administrator and there are no issues with the computer. Unsure whether Unibet have just sacked their entire support team but it seems practically impossible to get in touch with anyone. Any ideas as to why this may be happening as I want to try and clear my playthrough bonus but  find it difficult using the web client and i mostly play on my desktop.

Thanks

edit: I have searched the unibet commuinity for similar scenarios and not found anything except one post where somebody said it could be machine dependant and it could be that it never works, which I find hard to believe..

Hi @plomahahaha unfortunately I had the same problem when I joined Unibet and went through all the advice, try clearing cache and cookies, installing new drivers etc but to no avail. The problem was only solved when I bought a new computer, a bit drastic I know ,but it was on my to do list anyway. As for staff they may be busy in Bucharest at th e mo, in future try tagging one of the mods, @JeppeL @RayL. Hope you get some help from this fantastic community.😃

Hi @plomahahaha, welcome to the Community :)
I have asked for more info regarding this possible error, I wouldn't think that WIN 7 is not supported anymore, however apologies for any inconvenience regarding this. In order to grasp the full extent of might be happening we would need a bit more info, to be more speciffic, a directX diagnostic of the PC parameters and a poker log found here :  c:\Users\******\Documents\Unibet Poker.
Support got recently redirected to the newly implemented Help Center in which a player will go through a series of FAQ's with possible solutions before the "Contact us" option is offered.
I'd be more than happy to assist you in resolving this though :) you can send the log and the DXdiag + a screenshot to contact@unibetcommunity.com and I'll pick it up from there.
@GR1ZZL3R, was there no resolution to the issue when you were running WIN7? What fixes did you try?

/Ray

Message below received from @GR1ZZL3R but got lost while moving it to the Bug Report section

"@Ray-Unibet With the help of the community I seemed to try everything possible on a Win 7 upgraded to 10, cleared cache and cookies, updated drivers, cleared all Unibet files after deleting client, even those remnants left deep, but nothing seemed to work, so I just waited for my birthday new computer and have had no problems since. I'm not a tech guy, worked from you tube advice but to no effect, so sorry I can't help further."Geek
