Void or loss?

Hello,

Yesterday I have placed a bet on Garbine Muguruza to win the WTA San Jose tournament.

Now today I saw an article that she is forced out of the tournament due to an injury.

She didn't play a match yet.

Will this bet be voided or will it be a loss?

Hi @Novak97. I've sent a request to our Sports department to advise us on this situation as I am unsure if it's going to be a voided bet or if B.5.11 terms apply:
"11) When placing "Outright" or "Place" bets, no stakes will be refunded on participants/outcomes that are not participating or withdrawing from an event (both prior and during), unless otherwise stated. Unibet reserves the right, at its own discretion, to apply Tattersalls Rule 4, as explained in , on any competition and this will be stated in correlation to the bet offer and/or the relevant Sportspecific rule."
I will be sure to update you as soon as an answer is received.

Update: Just received an update and I am sorry to say @Novak97, but the above stated terms apply in this situation.

Oh, if that it the case, i´m sorry for telling wrong information :sad:

I just thought that tennis bet rules apply and at least one set has to be played for it to be lost.

Kind of stupid rule though imo. There in no point then to place bets in advance but wait until very beginning of the competition. And yet you lower odds to other players if someone withdraws. Smells fishy.
