I posted a message yesterday regarding the WC Jackpot Final promotion, and thought might as well go for it as I have been betting throughout the WC and amassed over 2500 tickets for the jackpot.

After the final, I was watching the live draw, and then received a congratulatory message with my Unique User ID, I was so happy that I had won around 16,000 Euros from the jackpot!

After calming down, I refreshed the page, only to find that the message had disappeared and my Unique User ID was no longer on the list of winners, and just sat there in disbelief.

Someone said yesterday that they believe this jackpot draw is rigged to make players bet more during the WC and now I do not know what to think. I refuse to lose out on 16,000 euros because of a technical glitch and now do not know what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, this just proves my theory, and that nibet has rigged this ' promotion  ' .... this one should head out to the news !

theres no real reason why unibet would rig the draw! But totally agree ,with such a huge prize ...this should be front page of the site ! everybody want to know who win the prize !

I no idea who won ,  we might be the one lol

@Pmk2x17 🤣 you have no clue what you're talking about. Well, Unibet (part of Kindred Group) is a listed company with more than 1200 employees, and the money given away in this draw is peanuts. It'd be ❤️♥️❤️ retarded - almost as retarded as claiming it's rigged - to fake this draw and risk the entire existence of the company (regulators would surely not appreciate something like that, and it could result in the company losing its licenses).

@testuser1: telling how Unibet big is isn't a valid argument against fraud. Two words: Lehman Brothers.

@psrquack, ofc it is 🤣

If a new company with a quarterly GWR of € 1,000,000 is giving away € 1,000,000 in a promo, there's good reason to be suspicious.

If an old company with more than 1200 employees and a quarterly GWR of € 235,300,000 is giving away € 1,000,000 in a promo, you'd honestly have to be pretty stupid to think that the company will risk its entire existence for such a relatively small amount - and it's a company which share price has increased almost 40 % in the last 12 months. Again, regulators would not tolerate any kind of fraud, and losing the licenses to operate would mean the end of the company.

Well, where is the money, there is the temptation. Full Tilt was also a trusted company. So I think size and profit doesn't matter if you are greedy.

What were those car companys then that cheated in exhaust results, strawberries 😏

I've heard so many times that size don't matter that it has to be truth (please let it be truth )

But do i think this is fraud, no. This just comes up everytime there is raffle. Easier just for unibet the stop these promos or release nicks of winners. No i don't believe that you can't announce those cause practically every other company does. Look at the 100000000000000 million challence in pokerstars for example.

Just received a reply from the Account Manager.

Apparently, they said it is not possible that I have won the draw because I was not logged on during the time of the raffle?

'To get more details about the widget you said you saw, they investigated also your account and could see, that you have not been logged into the system while the Jackpot was drawn, therefore it seems impossible that your ticket was a winning one'

Their words exactly. Whereas I was there during the draw, watching the animation go round and round, and now they are saying I was not logged on? This all seems way too fishy to me. So they are sayin I was not logged on ( which I was) and there was no error ( which there was)

?

Hi @ozzy123 and thank you guys for so passionately sharing you thoughts in this matter.
There was indeed another thread these days regarding this promotion but I remember it was tied to us not publicly sharing the information regarding the winners due to GDPR  (General Data Protection Regulation) laws implemented within the EU, it was in no way regarding that the promotion is rigged or that we falsely advertise winning or not crediting them unless I missed something, needless to say, I am incredibly sorry you feel this way, distrust is the last feeling that myself or Unibet would like to see in a valued player.
I've looped myself in the communication as soon as I saw the thread @ozzy123 and an e-mail was received not so long ago regarding the investigation started by the account manager. I believe the she tried to call you but the phone didn't ring, so I believe she sent an e-mail.
The developers had a look at your account, the logs and code that this whole promotion runs and no issues were found, the base of the promotion setup is what some would call "Failproof". It's also worth mentioning that at the time of the draw you were not logged in to your Unibet account either.
I hate to leave this issue just hanging in the air but fact is that nothing like what was mentioned above reflects what is logged in our system. As the guys mention in the thread as well, and I have written this time and time again here in the Community, as an online operator which has an increased success year after year, it would be and I'll use the mildest word I can think of, illogical to perform an online fraud of this extent over one milion euro.
Feel free to get in touch with me or Jeppe via private message if you would like us to update your telephone number in our systems in order for the account manager to get in touch with you via mobile.

Hi Ray,

Thanks your your email.

Yes I have duly received the email from the Account Manager.

Secondly, it is untrue that I was not logged on during the draw, you can look back at the log history and can see that I was logged on during the WC final and minutes after it because I was watching the animation of the draw, so clearly if you have this information wrong, what else can be wrong?

Again, to public share the nation only behind every winners, does NOT add any conflict regarding GDPR.

Again, ive been asking around in the whole scandinavia on all bettingsides, even outside.. like UK,netherland etc..no on have ever heard of anyone winning 10% on any games played in the WC. And again...if your're big,sucessfull... you will alway find a way to fraud players... like the casinos in here are...

@Pmk2x17 I would be happy and am more than willing to contact the promotion executive tomorrow and re check the whole process again just so we clarify this beyond a shadow of a doubt for both party's sake that there was no error. It's the least I can do. As for the local casinos, it is a subject I won't touch for the simple reason that I wouldn't know but if that is so it is a business model that in my personal humble opinion won't hold up for long but then again I wouldn't know about local bureaucracy or corruption, we work on a global level which is why a strong ethical base is key to a sustainable business model.
I'll be sure to get back to you first thing tomorrow as soon as I have received the relevant information.

About the jackpot and players that won it from Unibet, what I can do in that regard is enquire of the full list of winning players, crosscheck if any are community members and private message them to see if they would like to confirm that. :) at the moment it's a matter of personal choice but I can try. Let me know what you think about that.

I know nothing about anything in this case but I find it VERY VERY strange that Unibet could not provide an open/public drawing of the results... GPDR??? No... We had lottery-codes.  Nothing to show for anyone else... Would be nice to hear why this multimillion/billion-company cannot provide a simple, descent thing as this. I have no other reason to blame Unibet but this is weird.

It´s all in there.

GPDR does not prevent Unibet from showing the nationalities of the winners, as it is not sharing their personal information publicly.

Also as stated before @RayL, I WAS indeed logged on to the system while the draw was taking place and you and your colleagues have said that I wasnt? That is very untrue, and if you are lying about that, how do I know you are not lying about the draw?

Check my account, check my account history, check my transactions:  I'd say within the past 2 months I have spent well over the 16000 euros that I rightfully won, but for some reason or another, Unibet is trying to rob me of this by stating wrong information.

Unfortunately I do not have a photo/screenshot, because who would've thought at the time it would come to this? There should be a certain amount of trust between the company and its players, otherwise, we'd be screenshotting after every single bet placed.

Also, I am like you said, one of your valued players, so why would I jeapordize the status of my account that I currently have after playing with 10s of thousands for 16,000 euros?
