Deleting wins, and set bet as lost! :-O

Put up a bet for 10.5 to 1, that Tromsø, should score, in the last minute of overtime in the cup game.

Tromsø scored, and I saw my bet as a win, in the profile.

Then all of a sudden, the win was deleted by Unibet, and replaced with a loss instead..... Why? Do you only pay out, when it is convenient for you?

It is neither a big loss, nor a big win for me. It is mostly just the principle; that if I bet correct, I shall also recieve the correct prize?

Hopefully Unibet will correct my bet to a win, instead of a wrongful loss?

Hi @ohegge,

if i am not mistaken, you betted on "who will score a next goal" , 2nd goal ?

If so,there were no more goals (match finished 0:1),therefore bet is lost.

*if you can translate scandinavian to me,could help you more.

Eh no.... 1 st goal that was.

At first my profil presented this as a win. Then all of a sudden the bet was changed into a loss by Unibet, while I was looking at it.

Had not eve n a thought of that I maybe should have taken a screenshot immidieatelly, to aquire proof. I have never experienced such before, so. But I guess that I have to start doing so for the future if Unibet makes it a habit to delete bets that customers win or set them as loss?

@ohegge I believe it's because the bet only was valid for the regular match time and not the extra periods - which is when the goal was scored, but 119th minute.

I'm online from my phone at the moment, but we'll have it checked at the sportsbook so we can confirm the abive or have the bet settled correctly.

@ohegge Probably system didn't react on time.

Goal happened at 119.min,you placed a bet at 20:41 which means 2 min. after the first goal occur, therefore you only could bet on 2nd goal.

Second goal didn't happend, therefore bet is lost.
Only possibility left is that a match had "disallowed goal",so system maybe acted like that.

Whait till tomorrow, but I am afraid outcome will stay.

EDIT:just saw @JeppeL replay,I think it included extra time but the bet was on 2nd goal.

Maybe they scored while you placed the bet and you didn´t get to see that it chanced to 1st goal to second? Clearly it says in your coupon that 2nd goal.

After checking, this is what I'm thinking as well.. The bet is for the 2nd goal in the match which never happened.

Well. The bet was set just about 30 seconds before the 1st goal was shown on live on NRK2 in Norway, via Canal Digital satellite.. The Unibet site, also showed it as a win at first. Before they changed it into a loss instead.

But, it was not at fortune that was bet and neither a very big loss. 5 kroners, was actually just for fun, to see if they maybe could score. It is mostly the principle, of changing a result that I had on screen as a win, into a loss, all of a sudden.

I just learned the lesson, that I have to activate my screen recorder, the next time I go livebetting on Unibet. At least if I plan to do some serious betting.

@ohegge I can't comment on a potential delay in Norwegian TV, but I can see that the bet is registered for the second goal - that is what the (2) indicates, it was there right when you placed the bet and not added after.

We can have the Sportsbook check the specific real time the bet was placed vs the real time in which the 1st goal was scored though and it should clear it up - it's unlikely that the 1st goal would be registered and the "Next Goal" bet option to count towards a 2nd goal if the 1st one hadn't even been scored yet.

Might be so. I have been off Unibet for a long time, and this new livbetting thing is much more smooth and customer friendly, than it used to be.

Delay in transmissions, maybe. Guess I just have to be at the stadium to observe in person, to make sure that delay is not there. Too bad it is so unreliable, though.

I even once got my account to negative when my winning bet was changed to lost and i had already made new bet with wins and they failed. Not in Unibet but other site that use same bet system. It was so nice to deposit next time and part of deposit vanished like fart to Sahara.

So if you really want to be sure about your bets better to doublecheck them for yourself :)

@ohegge, I can confirm that the bet was sent to be double checked by the Sportsbook department.
Will be sure to update you as soon as we have an answer.

A quick follow up on your bet @ohegge , indeed there was a technical issue with it and after raising it to the Sportsbook they have refunded you the bet. Thank you for letting us know and do let us know if this happens again.
