Community Rank Tournaments

Would it be possible to have different tournaments using community rank for entry:

Rank 1-10

Rank 11-20

Rank 21-30

etc...

This way new members get an extra chance to play each other, get to know each other better, and maybe if you´re new to the game it´s easier to actually win some higher prize. At the same time older members get something for themselves, for being devoted here a long time.

Is there something like this already? Then simply delete my idea...don´t complain like a chili pepper.  :-p

In the past edges were given based on rank in some games, i.e multibuy mtt 1 tix per level.

In the very early days there was a lot of games where each one has a slightly higher rank each week to encorage activity.

Climbing the early ranks is pretty quick, I think i got to rank 15 from 0 faster than i got from 22 to 23.

Rank 30 is the highest and I dont think one person has done it, pretty sure @testuser1 said it was impossible to get it in a year.I joined in the first few weeks nearly 2 years go and still have a long way to go to get 30.

You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land.

Magicadil and AndreiBN are currently the members with the highest rank (25), and as you can see on their profiles, it required quite a lot of posts and likes to get there - Andrei has more than 10k likes.

Rank 10 is pretty easy to reach, but rank 11 and above require some proper contributions. The formula itself is a secret, but it's pretty complex and looks at quite a few variables :)

Have you considered a coaching school. Teaching people the best places to "ticket please" "whats the pass" With your insider knowledge you would do well and as seen its a really big market 🤣 ^^^^^^

With that info, there could actually be a 1-10, 11-15, 16-25 for example.

I think it´s a good idea.

Fewer participants in each, some get paid, some get Unibet accesories... I once won Ray-ban sunglasses from 888poker, using them everyday. If I had a Unibets Caps I´d wear it proud walking my dog everyday. :)

What does that remind me of? :Wonder:gradechart-s

Once you reach Level 30, you are getting the Xenu avatar! There, I said it...

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

These tournaments were there and I think if it was for the community mods they would love to do that again.

But as mentioned before plenty of times, it takes more time the bigger the community gets to get all these players individually and reward them with the tickets.

In the past the lvl 12 mark was always the moment you could start to participate in things and freerolls consisted of 40-60 players (at most). If we would do this now that number would be doubled at least.

The only thing they could do (and not saying this because I'm high enough) is to raise that minimum requierement to always fit 40-60 members. But then that's not fair for lower levels of players, because reaching level 20 takes around a year of normal interaction and maybe 6 months of dedicated posting.

I think it's also just not fair to make players feel excluded, I just think they should get back to tickets instead of passwords or maybe try to steal some dev time to get an extra column in the database where a player can get a "Community" variable, like players have nationality and gender etc...

@VikingsAF Actually not that much work involved in adding more members. Extracting the report takes the same time, and adding the tickets isn’t an issue either (think about how many ticket exchanges Ray has been doing in the past months) :D

Only issue could be a tournament where the chips depend on the rank (the higher the rank/post/likes, the more tickets = more chips), but that really shouldn’t be an issue either - if they want to add 23 tickets to a member with rank 23, I believe they just need to have the name 23 times in a list. I would be happy to work on a solution that could make it easy to create such a list :)

NB never done the ticket exchanges myself, so not 100 % sure about the time it takes, but pretty sure it’s fairly straightforward :)

@testuser1

I'm just saying what I heard :p Imo there are plenty of easy solutions to all the freeroll hassle, which should take maybe 8-16 hours dev time and a bit of debugging (take the same time again)...

@RedHotChiliP

Really like our idea. And whilst I know you awesome poker players here would want to play a match for something......

I think a community league would be really nice, to play among the great pool of players here....I know Davitsche has his league as well.

But playing at the Malta Rumble today was a tournament for me with a difference whilst playing with an intention to win or do well, I think just being able to sit at a virtual table and see dudes like @RedHotChiliP @VikingsAF @MathrimC @FreedoM @Want2Believe was really refreshing. Whilst there wasn’t a chat function me and @GR1ZZL3R spectated and supported our buddy and to me that was a win in my book.

And I really hope we can play in more community events in future 🆒

@RedHotChiliP Saw it, read it and like it :) I'm not sure if we'll do it by rank, but we will be having community leagues again like last year, we just first sort of started off with the Community Rumble because we got a bunch of packages to give out from the poker team :)
