Shoryureppa
@JeppeL Hey I have a concern here about the delisting of my country Trinidad and Tobago. It’s not negative just searching for an accurate answer. I joined Unibet at the request of one my Trinidadian buddies and in signing up I was able to successfully register as is evidenced by my presence here. Ive been boasting to a lot of my poker friends here that the Unibet app is definitely the best poker app and community of the lot we play on (888 and ACR just to name 2). They are really interested in getting signed up here, well at least one buddy in particular but going through registration we cannot get our country Trinidad and Tobago on the country listing but we do see our flag Trinidad and area code +1868 show up in the mobile section. What is the reason for the delisting? Is it software client based, restrictions or something under review? And will it affect my future play?Greatly concerned,Shoryureppa
JeppeL
@Shoryureppa We'll try and get some information on this for you, thanks for letting us know of other players who are unable to sign up!/Jeppe Former Community Manager
RayL
Hi @Shoryureppa, a quick update on your question. Due to changing regulatory restrictions, no further registrations will be possible for the time being from Trinidad Tobago unfortunately. This happened do to a law change within the government of the country however I am unable to confirm which law exactly was passed to cause this, it's more like a "better safe than sorry" proactive approach on our side. There is no need to be worried though, players which are already registered are unaffected by this, and are welcome to continue their activity. :) I hope this clears it up a bit and I managed to put your mind at rest. /Ray Former Community Moderator
Shoryureppa
@RayL thanks for the reasoning. I totally understand the approach taken by Unibet. I may perhaps see what the law is so that the position can be clear. This in order to try to get players from this country registered. But it is good to know that our present play is not affected.
