triceraatopp
10 eur Deep Stace 600 gdt. Late reg open for 14 levels, in the tournament list it says its syill open but the reg button is disabled and in the lobby it says that reg is closed. It had still 3 minutes to the break (says 44 sek in the lobby pic since i ps that after) and level 15 starts after the break. Its 9 itm but 27 players still in so I cant se any reason for the late reg to be closed so it must be some kind of bug here.

AlienQuadZ
Sometimes late reg close earlier when number of players are a multiple of the number of table seats By exemple, there are 2 min left to register to a 6 max tournament and there were 36 players registered and 18 players remaining . If you register at this moment tables have to be moved and prize pool will be distributed in an other way .. That's the kind of situation where late registration close earlier
triceraatopp
@jonny2192 yeah it seems like its the same problem, did they find a solution when u reported it?@AlienQuadZ interesting, I dont understand why it cant move players around though? But in this case that cant be the problem since its a six max with 27 players left.
jonny2192
@triceraatopp The bug is years old, at one stage it got fixed but the fix caused different bugs and it seems to have been reverted back to how it is now. It tends to effect sats a lot more than normal MTTs though, dont think I have seen it happen in a normal MTT before. You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land. triceraatopp
@jonny2192 yeah in sats its more often then not that it closes early so I just accept that and wait for next one but I hvae not seen it happen to a mtt before either so thought it was a bug worth reporting.. Unibet-Cédrick
Hi @triceraatopp,Thank you for reporting this, we're currently investigating why it happened.Cheers,Cédrick
pirahn
@Unibet-Cédrick Its been reported over 3 years ago, when does this investigation end.🤣 Late reg closed early in 25 dso last night. It could have been lappin doing it deliberately cos he too scared of me.
Unibet-Cédrick
Hi @triceraatopp,So what happened in this tournament was that it started when 12 players had registered. During the early stages a player busted out without any additional registrations so the player finished on 12th place. Therefore the tournament automatically got capped at 72 players for the reason that that 73 players or more would have given a prize for the 12th position. See the payout structure logic below.I hope this helps explaining. Thanks,Cédrick
VikingsAF
Yes I've said this already a long time that the issue is with early KO's and that the system thinks it needs to award a prize at that player aswell since he ended 12th.@Unibet-Cédrick I know you guys have a lot of dev backlog, but isn't there a possibility to not award a place to players which bust out before late reg closes? :)I think the only reason those positioning system exists is because it helps awarding prizes, but since you wil never have a price when you bust before late reg ends, you don't need a position :) 1 I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... triceraatopp
@Unibet-Cédrick thank you that explains why it happend! I agree @VikingsAF,,it should be possible to fix. One way could be to have a default number layer ex 999 for players busting before late reg ends
Unibet-Cédrick
Hi @VikingsAF, @triceraatopp,Thanks a lot for your feedback and suggestions.I spoke to the Relax devs and its unfortunately nothing we can change at this moment as it would require quite complex changes to the tournament controller. I'd like to point out also that the tournaments work like this intentionally for the reason explained above even though it can shorten the late reg period in some few situations. Thanks,Cédrick
jonny2192
@Unibet-CédrickI find the answer from the devs pretty disappointing, There are many of these small bugs that just ruin everything the poker team are trying to do because they never get fixed.I feel if the devs got there act together Unibet poker would be strides ahead of where it is now, as @pirahn has said many times not everyone will make comments about a problem they will just vote with there feet and leave. There seems to be a lot of people sround that seem to think some of these bugs should be easy fixes, Maybe if there was someone on the poker team with some programming knowledge they could call BS on some of the timeframes returned by the dev team. At this stage though I would even be tempted to have an independant consultant to advise the poker team on what and what isnt realistic to expect rather than just counting on the dev teams word.PS.Happy to go to Tallinn and just sit there and ask "have you done that yet" till they fix all bugs 😏 1 You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land. Stubbe-Unibet
As previously explained it's by design, and we've improved the payout table slightly so that it shouldn't happen as often. However, it is a bug that it's still indicated that the tournament is open for registration. It's added to the backlog and I'll let you know once it's been fixed. Stubbe-Unibet
The issue with the tournament showing as open for registration, when it's closed ahead of the planned time, has been fixed. As mentioned before, this is by design. Thereby not said we won't consider changing this, but for now I'm closing this bug report. Check the latest poker release notes. Have a look at our poker promotions.
