Hi @andy1

What I can tell you is that the draw took place yesterday and that all winners has been paid out by having cash added directly on their accounts, as well as disclose the country the winning players are registered from..
I got the full list from the Sportsbook Promotions team and have it right in front of me now, it contains the usernumber, country of player and amount the amount paid out in the different account currencies. While I would love to announce the winners in some way - it's actually something we've had internal talks on doing in a not too distant future - the question is on how to exactly execute it.
Obviously we wouldn't disclose the usernumbers as that is account sensitive information, but perhaps we could do the initials of the players as seen on Casino Tournaments along with the country the player is registered from. But, since we didn't mean to include that in the Terms and Conditions for this promotion, I'm unsure if I have a legal right to do it, and personally I don't want to disclose any information without letting players know beforehand, even if there is no legal conflict.

If you want me to double check if you we're one of the winners, please do let me know. For now, I'll mention the countries the top 10 winners of the draw played from.

1. Netherlands
2. Netherlands
3. Canada
4. Romania
5. Iceland
6. Poland
7. Sweden
8. Netherlands
9. United Kingdom
10. Romania

Best regards,

Hey there,

I also asked the support team about this promotion.

I am from romania and my account curency is in euro so i had the same issue regarding the sum i had to bet.

I think is important for you to show us the list of winners, like you do in casino tournamets and poker leaderboards(since you cant disclose the accounts)There should be some transparancy here so that we know that you actually give those prizes.

I would also like to see the winners list because there was specified in t&c tha it will be published.(just the initials and country would do it)

I would also like to know if i qualified for this promotion.

I have alrdeady asked the support team but i didnt got an answer.

And i have to mention that the romanian support team is a nightmare.Sorry but i have to say it.

Thank you.

@Messwithme

Does it make it more real, if you see that, S K from Germany or B S from Romania has won? They couldn't just make them up if they wanted to cheat? Just have to trust them or not. But yeah it would be nice to get message or confirmation when you have opt in/made eligible coupon so you would know that all is good 😃

I agree ,saying X Y from Zimbabwed doesnt make it necesary true.

Can we all agree that there should be some transparacy here?

A client should know if he qualified for a specific promotion and should also know who won what.

It would really make things a lot easier for both parties involved(customers and unibet), in my opinion ofc.

@Messwithme I hear what you're saying, transparency is great and it's the main reason we have the community online for you guys to begin with :)

Any suggestion on what we could do here though outside of initials? I've touched upon it earlier in the thread, that doing full names is out of the question due to it being personal account sensitive information - so would have to be some sort alternative.

About confirmation of participation not happening for you to see after registering, that point of feedback I've made sure to pass on to the guys in charge of Sportsbook Promotions. We want to get rid of any insecurity and feelings of not know, so it's great for us to hear you opinions on how these promotions work - thanks a bunch!

Since monday i have been asking 2 thinks.

1. Was my account taken into consideration when you draw the winners(have  i been eligible for this)

2. Where is the list of winners?why do you refuse to publish it at least like you do with casino tourneys and poker leaderboards(initials and country)

I have read the T&C and there it said that you will anounce the winners on your website, this didnt happen.

You already made the draw and acorded the specific prizes but you still cant tell me theese 2 things? How is this posible? What are we supose to believe?

@Messwithme If you opted in and placed the 8 fold bet as 1 X or 2, I guarantee that you were in the raffle drawing - the Sportsbook Promotion team took data on everyone opting in.
I have already passed along the feedback that you guys have expressed, that there should be some sort of visual confirmation upon placing the bet, that it was in fact registered for the promotion.

Regarding the list of winners: That part was added in error to the Terms and Conditions, just like the mention of the raffle happening on the 12 of February - I'm real sorry for the inconvenience, but as this is not my promotion, I won't disclose it here on the community - at least not this time around.

Ok,i will not get into this anymore cause we are getting nowhere.

But you got to understand how awfull this is.A customer doesnt know for certain if he qualified, doesnt know who/how many participated, who won.Basically knows nothing.Totally dark. This is strange.

Whenver pstars are having a raffle (casino, poker, sports) they make an allin tourney with all the contestants that qualified for a specific promotion. Can you take this into cosideration for future promotions?

At least send a cofirmation email whenever a player qualifies for a raffle saying" Heloo X you qualified for Y promotion along other N players. The raffle will take place ....blabla."

Does this seem fair to you?

Couldn't agree more about that.
As I already discussed about that in Ford Mustang competition thread,I am afraid that this kind of "TOP SECRET" classifications can just turn people away.

Why we see players initials in casino competitions? Or first and last word   exmple: K********J

They will have a live draw,I think in a few days.

This "all-in" idea is very good and could solve the problem.

@JeppeL Can you,at least,gives us a number of participations?

@Messwithme Like I said in previous posts, we have had internal talks on this issue because it's something we believe could be handled better. I understand completely where you are coming from and I've passed the feedback on confirmation along as well - adding emails to the send out que is sensitive as well do a few aspects.
The idea of doing it as an all in flip tournament I really like, but the question is whether or not players techincally are registered in the poker back office before actually going there and making an alias. The second problem with it, is what to do if a player has chosen to self exclude from the poker product - and that's a big hurdle.

We'll try and see what we can come up to improve this though, because people here agree that doing raffles in the dark isn't great at all.

Give 60 minutes to the participants and rank them according to the highest winning odds.

I don't really get why it's so important to get the initials, or the names for that matter, of the winner.

Unless you get their social security number, this doesn't really prove anything. As @Livertool says, it could all just be made up.

If you don't trust Unibet to host a fair competition, how can you trust them with your money by depositing?

Thereby not said that I don't agree it would be cool with a live stream, flip tournament, or the like.

@testuser1 at least something. This "WE DONE IT" is unserious.

With any guide we would see if it is profitable to be into, what are the odds of getting the prize, etc.

What would like playing poker with no infos such as number of players, current stacks...

Like in casino,I have no intention of playing, even 1€ per spin, when I see somebody destroing the tour. with 100€ per spin.

Maybe, live tracker that will count tickets that are made and presenting them all the time, with Coupon ID.

Now that we have taken this road of suspicion this i would like to know just out of interest

Made a couple of those querys last week that betting companys now and then sent to you. And they all promise that if you complete it, you will get in on somekind of raffle. I think unibet's email said that they do 50 fbm raffle every thursday. Latest i did was pokerstars and it was quite long, last question was somethinh like: if you would be ceo of betstars, how would you make our product more better? Wtf? Like i would do his job for free or change to win from raffle and made it clear for them too

Anyways, point was, has anyone ever got something for doing those querys, from sny co?

I think i've done so many that chances are that supposed to win one.

Just out of interest.....
