Hey i have similar problem and I have sent all the required documents including these face pictures while holding the photo next to me and allmost 50 other documents by now to prove my address and identity. How long can this checking take Im about to lose my bonus and would really like to withdraw my money already.

Hi @Hedje, I see that you sent the requested documents, thank you, the security department is processing them as we speak. :)

From what I can see, there is a request for a phone verification on your account, if you could let Customer Service know when this week will you have the time to be called for a couple of routine questions, that would be great and it would speed up the verification process as well!

Unfortunately I am unable to call you from here so you will need to contact Customer Service via e-mail or chat.

Hello!

Ok so after sending 50 documents I still need to have this phone call? Ok, but why do unibet calls from "unknown number" anyone could act as unibet staff worker. How do I know Im even talking to the right person. It has been now 3 weeks since unibet tried to contact me with phone but I was at work and told the caller that I cant talk at that time. I told him about my hours I work and still he called me again at the same time?

 

Im losing every bonus and promotion there is because my verification has taken months. I  have been every day checking my mail to see this through but it seems to do nothing because nothing is enough and customer service seems to always just say "you just need to wait" until I wait weeks and then I come asking whats the deal in live chat and always there is something more they want but they didnt bother to tell me about it? Why cant these requests be sent with email why do I need to come here to ask about these? Im so tired of this process that I just want to withdraw my money and go to play somewhere there isnt this this much problems. I just want my money I dont even want to play here anymore because I have spent so much time trying to verify my documents and explain these customer service -people my situation.

I dont now what to do anymore. I dont think unibet wants people to go to their facebook page asking and telling them about these stories but I need to share my story to other people because I dont want anyone ever suffer losing the same amount time as I already have with this never-ending verification-journey. 

By far I have posted these documents:

-4 different documents about my address 

-More than 10 pictures of my passport

-3 different photos of me holding my passport next to my face (with and without glasses)

+ many pictures of these documents  in different angles

I really agree this. This cant be an accident that it is this way. Unibet takes customers money and drives them crazy when they want their money back from the site. Unibet wouldnt even need as much staff in verifying the documents if you would do it before customers can deposit money to their account. But Unibet has chosen to rather take the money and make the customer suffer from these veryfying issues because it is financially more profitable than making it easier to the customer. I just wonder if this is even legal and does the people who work on with the documents have any time limits for checking the documents? It seems like they do their work when it suits them best.

 

Why cant Unibet do these document checking ja and identity verifying things before deposit? If the answer isnt the one I provided above I would really like to know what it is.

@Hedje. So you're saying it would be easier for everyone to send every single document that Unibet might request, before they deposit? 🤣 Sure, that doesn't sound like a lot of unnecessary trouble and work 🤣

If documents were e.g. requested from ALL customers, when they tried to make their first deposit, your idea would be slightly less ludicrous, but this is not the case. Documents are requested from a minority of customers. Furthermore, there're so many different kinds of documents, and the docs needed depend on the individual case. Furthermore, your account can never be fully verified, and new requests might occur, even if you already sent some documents once.

What you're eseentially saying is that everyone should send in all of the below documents, before they can even start playing, and the majority of these customers would never have to send in anything with the current procedure.

1. Bank statement
2. Front of credit card(s)
3. Back of credit card(s)
4. Front of ID
5. Back of ID
6. Proof of adress
7. Picture of account holder with the ID
8. Proof of e-wallet (if any)
9. Source of funds (can be several different docs)

And possibly even more docs than the above.

Actually not. Proof of address, pic of id ,copy of payment. That is only thing i've asked by other companies. Takes 1 minute for player to send, and would leave so much time fot unibet checkers and uber checkers to microskope them 😏

And that should be enough that needed from "normal" player that dont deposit millions or use other persons accounts to deposit.

It is really up to unibet if they want to make it more difficult.

Nope. It's a regulated industry, so they don't decide this themselves. Look at the huge fines that have been handed out in the UK :)

And certainly other documents, pics, phone calls, favourite colour, height, weight... can be asked but does it really matter. If player is legit, he/she is. If he/she ain`t, shouldn´t be that hard to figure out :)

Hmmm, if you send a copy of your passport, it shows your picture and your passport-number. 

So why this "Front of ID" and "Back of ID"? Just curious :)

Obviously some of them don't manage to do just that, without getting fined. Just google it :D

@steppek77 depends on the kind of ID. For the passport, the back is of course not needed :)

Yeah, i´ve read about those, latest was with paf who let women play over 2 millions in couple years with out any checks and then finally announced to authoritys about money laundring suspicions but still let her play. Well that is just stupid and should be fined :D

But like i said, with "normal" players that doesn´t spend tens of thousands every month to deposit. Can you link me some page that company is fined with "normal" player :D
