yarik_gr
Recently I recommended to try Unibet Poker to my friend from Russia, but he said that he don't find his county in registration menu. Also he tried to contact with support and they said him that registration is closed to russian citizens. But it seems strange to me, because I saw an avatar with russian flag in poker, so it looks like once upon a time russian players was avaliable to play on Unibet. So, why does the registration on Unibet is unavaliable for russian players? Is it temporarily? Also I'm a little bit worried, what if one day Unibet decides to close site for players from my county and I'll lose all my money?@JeppeL @MarcoV can you please clarify this for me? Thanks. BonusPater
@yarik_gr, can't give you an official answer, but you can be sure that they won't just close your account and keep your money. The Russian authorities are not exactly fans of online gambling (it's actually strictly forbidden by law to gamble online in Russia), and that's surely the reason for not accepting new Russian customers. JeppeL
@yarik_gr Unfortunately we don't accept new Russian customers, I believe since 2014 due to a change in the Russian gambling law, though already registered players are allowed. For the rest, I refer to BonusPater's response, we'd never close down a market without giving players their money back./Jeppe Former Community Manager
