The clash to happen in China is also down to 3,00 from 5,00 now. I'm really wondering if North Korea even has a vehicle/machine to transport Kim and his sister besides that stupid train? I doubt he'll be flying Economy to Europe...🤣

Seems like the meeting will happen in the DMZ:

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/04/30/asia/trump-kim-summit-dmz/index.html

Thank God I didn't place a bet, however this quote from the article I find interesting:

@Fake News CNN wrote:

The North Korean leader is reluctant to travel long distances by plane, partly due to security issues -- a plane is vulnerable to attack -- but also due to practical considerations.
"(Kim's) fleet of aircraft are very old and (we're) just honestly not sure if he can physically get to where he needs to go if its further than a certain number of miles away," Jenna Gibson, director of communications at the Korea Economic Institute, told CNN.
Faced with a similar dilemma, Kim Jong Il, Kim's father and previous ruler of North Korea, opted to travel in a custom built armored train, rather than moving around the world by air.

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

English kids are too dumb to read the clock

@The article wrote:

Schools are removing analogue clocks from examination halls because teenagers are unable to tell the time, a head teachers’ union has said.

Teachers are now installing digital devices after pupils sitting their GCSE and A-level exams complained that they were struggling to read the correct time on an analogue clock.

Mr Trobe, a former headmaster, said that teachers want their students to feel as relaxed as possible during exams. Having a traditional clock in the room could be a cause of unnecessary stress, he added.

“You don’t want them to put their hand up to ask how much time is left,” he said.

There is actually a big advantage in using digital clocks in exam rooms because it is much less easy to mistake a time on a digital clock when you are working against time.”

But it gets better:

Earlier this year, a senior paediatric doctor warned that children are increasingly finding it hard to hold pens and pencils because of an excessive use of technology. Sally Payne, the head paediatric occupational therapist at the Heart of England foundation NHS Trust, said that when children are given a pencil at school, they are increasingly unable to hold it.

“To be able to grip a pencil and move it, you need strong control of the fine muscles in your fingers.

Sitting in your A-Level exams, physically exhausted because you have to hold a pencil and on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of the analog clock on the wall...:Geek:

@WuDuWTF, do you think its from laziness, stupidity or change? I actually see a future where they add touchscreen desks in schools or keyboards.

It's from an unhealthy mix of retarded parenting, moronic teachers and socialism.

Back in the day, from grades 1-6, we had two hours per week of swimming in school. In 5th and 6th grade, there was 1 kid out of 30 in my class who couldn't swim and for 2 years he had to do his own "program" in the non-swimmer part of the pool. Recently I read a statistic that nowadays 50 % of all kids in Germany can't swim!

Find this comment pretty offensive and borderline racist, having 4 kids and living in the UK.

You have just taken the article and read it as if its saying everyones stupid, when what it is actually saying is because of changes in lifestyles children are now struggling to do previously easy tasks.

I don´t think it was meant to be taken personally or just UK and as he mentions same direction in Germany too with swimming part. Just the way what world is becoming. At least that is how i understood it.

But got to agree. Weird direction we are heading if pupils lazyness, or what ever is it, determines what will be taught in school. Next step, they don´t bother to go to toilet so let them were diapers 🤣

To bet or not to bet, that is the question.

Its not about laziness, Its about lifestle changes.

Like calling someone thick cos they cant read a sundial or catch there own dinner or build there own house or 1001 other skills that people had but dont anymore because there is no need for them to because lifestyles change.

Digital clocks are on every device a teen will use, your going to use the device thats easier for you to use and ignore the devices that are a touch harder.

Well that is someones opinion and someone can disagree.

But while we are at it, lets give everyone electric wheelchairs and get rid of knowledge how to use those useless legs too. No need for those as we have technology nowadays 😛 Maybe that is the next level of evolution....

I´m glad that somethings were demanded when i went to school. Wasn´t back then but i am now.

To bet or not to bet, that is the question.

The free access which many young people have to romances, novels, and plays has poisoned the mind and corrupted the morals of many a promising youth; and prevented others from improving their minds in useful knowledge. Parents take care to feed their children with wholesome diet; and yet how unconcerned about the provision for the mind, whether they are furnished with salutary food, or with trash, chaff, or poison?

Household luxuries, school-room steam-press systems, and, above all, the mad spirit of the times, have not come to us without a loss more than proportionate...[a young man] rushes headlong, with an impetuosity which strikes fire from the sharp flints under his tread...Occasionally, one of this class...amasses an estate, but at the expense of his peace, and often of his health. The lunatic asylum or the premature grave too frequently winds up his career...We expect each succeeding generation will grow "beautifully less."

Truth hurts? I love it when people like you are so triggered, that they're starting to write utter non-sense. Since when is being a resident of the UK a race? Maybe you'd like to check the meaning before you throw big words like this around...

Since any group of people sharing common history, language,,cultural traits is considered a race.

Who even talks about races anymore today?

On a (somewhat more) serious note:

A change in lifestyle isn't always for the better :) Some things are and some things aren't.

We will end up in the world as portrayed by the 'Pixar movie Wall-E, where nobody will be able to do and think for themselves.

You think this hasn't anything to do with reading clocks and holding pens? An analogue clock will always be working, at least once it worked before. Every now and then you need to replace a battery, but that's that (A solar clock is even better, and since it reads exactly the same as a normal clock once you built it and calibrated it). If you want to write, you just take your pencil and do so. In fact, you will always be able to write something, in the worst case you'd need your blood.

Youth of today is far to dependant of technology. If there is a power shortage everyone is ❤️♥️❤️ed (and this is no unrealistic case), because a lot of people don't know how to work without technology anymore.

It's a bit strange maybe for me to say stuff like this. I'm one of the most fanatic people lobying for technological innovation, but this shows me even more what is wrong with all of this. (It's for a reason that the biggest influencers in Artificial Intelligence (I can't seem to post the abbreviation :p ) are the ones the most opposed to it.)

In 50 years nobody knows how to drive a car anymore... And from that moment whoever is powerfull enough can make your car do whatever they want... (Not only cars, but also your digital clocks and tablets)

Hardware is all easy to understand (from the moment you have decent knowledge), software isn't... Nobody knows what is actually happening in a neural network.

Sorry for the somewhat unstructured message. Had to write it in a hurry.

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

Yeah, i´ve thought about it many times. And stop reading news.

I´m just sick and tired everyone hurting their feelings on everything, if not for themselves then they are surrogate victims for others even if those"victims" don´t have anything to complain. Latest trend seems to be that cultural appropriation(google translation, probly not correct phrase) Everyday something new.... Just shows that we are too comfortable and have too much energy for sitting in front of computers almost 24/7

For the ❤️♥️❤️ sake, use that energy to something good and then you´ll make a difference. Not like this.
