Heads-up for the Las Vegas package!

Richard Knibbs has departed in 3rd place and takes home £8,966 for his best live poker cash.

They got it all-in on a Qh 9s 6h flop with Adrian holding Qc Jd for top pair and Richard Kh 9h for second pair and a flush draw.

The turn was the 7c and the river the A of spades, meaning Adrian chips up to over 2m.

Well done to Richard for his top three finish!

Online qualifier winner Adrian @FeelsBadMan Nica battles local player Russell Betts for the package and the Unibet UK Tour Nottingham title! 710639127_UnibetUKPokerTour2017-NottinghamFinalDay(c)TambetKask-074.thumb.jpg.d5333e003f83381942f485f8e1626cdc.jpg

We have a winner!36711302451_8827072cce_o.thumb.jpg.5685102f2b464b02062d208890555813.jpg

Russell Betts has won the Unibet UK Poker Tour Nottingham leg after beating Adrian Nica heads up.

The big swing came in the match when Adrian 5-bet jammed A8dd into Russell's AKcc. The board ran Ks 3c 2d 9h 7s, which gave Russell a commanding chip lead.

Shortly afterwards, @FeelsBadMan found himself all in with K9o and Betts called with A9ss. The board ran Ac Qs 4d 3h 4s and it was all over.

Russell has won himself £8,966 which was the chopped prize pool between the final 3, as well as a EU3000 package to the next Unibet event in Vegas, and of course the title of Unibet UK Poker Tour Nottingham champion! Great game, well played!

Huge congrats as well to runner up Adrian Nica. He took quite the journey to get here, and that's not just talking about the run of cards! He actually took a plane, two coaches and a ferry to get to Nottingham from Romania. He couldn't quite get the win, but still a great result, as he also wins a EU3000 package to Vegas as he was the last qualifier standing. Well done @FeelsBadMan, a fantastic result!

Russell Betts has been crowned the winner of the Unibet Poker UK Tour Nottingham after defeating Adrian Nica heads-up to win a 3000euro EO Special Edition package to Las Vegas for next month.

Betts came to the final table 2nd in chips but has managed to go the whole distance this evening.

After Unibet ambassador David Lappin was eliminated in 4th place, the remaining three discussed a deal.

After some chat and a few more hands of poker, a deal was agreed for the remaining prize pool to be split evenly, with each player taking home £8,966.

Play resumed with the package and title on the line. Unibet is sending players out to Las Vegas next month for the Wynn Fall Classic, so there was still plenty to play for.

Tomas Montrimas, Andrew (@MetalWolf) Whitehouse and Trevor Gardiner were the first three players to depart the final table before Michal (@Psycho79) Kulesza was eliminated despite flopping a set and hitting a full house on the river.

Tim (@MathrimC) Bruneel was next to go in 5th place, which gave Adrian Nica the honour of being the final online qualifier remaining and an EO Las Vegas package as his prize.

As David Lappin departed in 4th, it was Richard Knibbs who was the first of the final three to leave the final table, leaving Betts and Nica to do battle.

Nica was the big stack with close to 2m. It was an uneventful encounter between the two before they got all their chips in the middle pre-flop.

Nica, who held a small chip advantage at this point, showed A8 of diamonds with Betts turning over AK of clubs.

Betts hit a King to take 95% of the chips and won the rest the very next hand when Adrian moved all-in for his last 3bbs with Kc 9s. Betts woke up with As 9s and made the call.

The Ace high flop was enough for him to win the Unibet UK Tour Nottingham and the Las Vegas package.

Don't forget there is still time to qualify for the packages online!

For now, this is goodbye and goodnight.432306393_UnibetUKPokerTour2017-NottinghamFinalDay(c)TambetKask-092.thumb.jpg.89cc8450001edbb4fbcb74923afeacf4.jpg

Russell Betts puts the pressure on @MathrimC

Russell Betts just moved all-in on the river on a Qh Jh 2h 6h 9s board.

He called a raise from the big blind as both players checked the flop. @MathrimC's delayed cbet of 50k was called by Russell and MathrimC bet 75k on the river. Russell then moved all-in for 320k. It was a bold move to make but one that paid off as @MathrimC let his hand go.

I had JT with the T of hearts.

Well done to all the players on the final table. Was awesome to watch. Also many congratulations but also comiserations to @MetalWolf. A cash is a cash and I am sure your prize money will be put to your forth coming wedding next year. It would have been a fantastic story if you would have won it. But @FeelsBadMan was just on fire. Don't worry the next stop is Brighton so Nottingham was just a great first practice for you blinking the Brighton tour leg. Good luck all.

@FeelsBadMan  and @MathrimC were clearly cheating. @FeelsBadMan was reading a poker book whilst playing which coincidentaally belonged to @MathrimC. I thought Unibet was all about no huds and no books so that dumb asses like me have a chance. All prize monies should be suspended till there is a full investigation.

@FeelsBadMan I will be personally phoning agent orange to let him know dodgy foreiners coming to America.
