Client locked couldn't play can i have my equity refunded

Hey UB Community,

I've never had a problem with the web client before, but it just locked. Everything else on my computer was working fine. 

By the time it unlocked all I was greeted with was this screen.

 

 

Would you mind checking the following hand: 

556088403 (it was the last hand I was able to play) at the time I had 1240 chips that was at 14:43 when the screen finally unfroze it was 14:50. All my other windows were functioning fine so it seems to be specific to Unibet poker client (web version). 

My equity at the time was 1240 chips = $12.40 in pure $ EV (it was a $10 husng) ; anyway, can you check this out please. 

If you verify that I wasn't able to play a hand as the client locked, and do agree to refund the equity,  can you refund as 12x1 euro SNG tickets.

I want to get my equity back, this is perfectly standard @MoreTBC , if  the software crashed and I had 1999 chips , and my opponent had 1 chip left, do you expect me to ask for 1 buy in back?

You're absolutely right, they should be chip chopping HU SnGs whenever someone's web browsers craps out. My mistake.

 

I'm away to double up in all my games and then unplug my router so I can get my poker equity returned to me.

This isn't a troll. The game can't complete, and you can't come second, if the other player also suffers from a server problem. This did not happen. The fault is at your end.

I think if the client was lagging or timed out the players should get a refund and I know that if this happens in MTTs you chop according to the EV of your chips, so I dont see a reason why you shouldnt do this here.

As someone who suffers from Unibet crashes and laptop crashes a lot, which sucks during the HU phase of an SnG, let me ask you this: What did you do during those 7 minutes? Just sit there and wait? What about restarting the browser, using the client, restart the programs via task manager? Didn't read anything about that in your first post...

I think people that butt their ore into support request threads that do not concern them are incredibly sad. 

You must have literally nothing to do with your free time, I know you meet all sorts online, so I'm not necessarily surprised, it's just sad beyond belief.

 @TotalRecall if it crashed for both. Then yes. The chip chop should happen. But this issue is probably caused on the side of Skillfull since no-one else suffered from this.

@SkilfulPoker so this is for you aswell. You don't have any right on the Equity refund when not both players suffer from the issue. If this issue is indeed on Unibets side, then you should be happy with a BI refund and an apology.

If I'd ask refunds for every time my client bugs, my screen freezes or I get disconnected, altough everything else on my PC works, then I'd need to get tons of money back. Certainly when counting equity. (For example the last thing I posted about the "play again" button. That way I lost a lot of equity, because hands like JJ get folded for me.)

You should be pretty happy with the goodwill of Unibet (and mostly @MarcoV who solved this so easily for you), because what you did here isn't going to happen on any other site.

So yes. I see something on here that I want to know the deeper truth about... Then I can comment on this as much as I want. 

As there was mentioned earlier... This isn't a private reflecting forum for you only... 

 

For private support questions there are plenty of other options... For example e-mail, live chat and calls. 

What you do here is like posting something on the Facebook wall of some company, because you know they feel way more pressurized that way. And then shouting at anyone who replies on your post with their opinion, although that's the exact purpose of what FB is made for.

3 days ago, my laptop crashed during the HU of a 10 Euro 5-man SNG. I had roughly 4800 in chips and 5 minutes later, once I got back on, the game was over. Does that mean, I would be eligible for a 7-8 Euro refund in addition to my 2nd place prize money? I had 48 % of the chips at the time of the crash...
