BonusPater
The question is simple: what makes a good poker site? Reliable software, high prize pools in MTT's, many live qualifiers, plenty of cash game activity at all different stakes, good customer service etc.? VikingsAF
Number one is always and everywhere: Good Support!!! If a company knows how to handle issues, and can do it quickly, I'm the most intrigued to stay. Then it's always nice to see some promo's for smaller players. Things from what you can build up your BR. I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are. FreedoM
To be frank with you i don't know what makes a good site, i play on Unibet from when it was on Microgaming, and i didn't have then complains and i don't have now, from my point of view they are the best room on the internet for myself. The motto says it all "By player, for players" Good staff, good management, keep up the good work and thank you for this wonderful experience. #loveunibet

However since that is not possible for everybody, tough to say: The Unibet software is highly unreliable and crashes on the regular, prize pools in the MTTs are very low here and I don't play cash games. So I'd say it's about quick support and uniqueness of the product (changing your alias, no table selection...). We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"
GothMoth
The reliable software is very important - don't know how many times the new Unibet client tilted me to death when it stopped working in a middle of a hand. That is the reason why I played a lot more on the old one. I believe the bugs are removed in the new versions though.Enough players, decent number of cash tables or MTTs running is mandatory for a player to play seriously especially if there are bonuses/leaderboards/loyalty systems etc.I think it is very important the promotions to be aimed at the new/micro players mainly because they are the ones that need to be motivated to climb the stakes and the all poker-ecosystem will be healthier after all. MathrimC
A fun community. If it weren't for the twitch streams, these forums and the live events, it's unlikely I would still be playing so much poker.Good interface. A client like bwin/party drives me crazy. The Unibet client looks really good in my oppinion. There are the occasional technical issues, but for me personally those haven't come anywhere near to making me move sites. But ofcourse that doesn't mean they should be considered normal, when money is at stake, any technical issues should be considered high priority. The accessibility and goodwill of the staff. The personal contact and interactive and positive way of handling issues and feedback makes you feel you're not being scammed out of your money, which puts Unibet ahead of many other online gambling platforms. (I do not mean other gambling platforms scam people out of money, I mean that it's really easy to get that FEELING in an inpersonal online gambling environment, and I don't have that feeling at all with unibet). In an ideal world I would want more stake and fieldsize variation (for example €10 18-mans) and decent volume with equal amount of funplayers all day, so that I don't have to worry about when is the best time to play.Goals and challenges: I love grinding for achievements, besides the rakeback challenges I set my own monthly and yearly goals which greatly motivate me to play. Would be cool to incorporate this more into the platform itself. For example a cool new feature would be personalized challenges: based on the amount of challenge points you got last quarter, or the amount of SNGs you played, you get a bonus if you reach 10% more in the next quarter. It guarantees a challenging yet realistic goal for every player.
SkilfulPoker
I play on Unibet because rake is lower at microstakes, the poker management are poker players and have interests of poker players in mind. Because of the promotions, add value at microstakes, and because of the community creates a nice atmosphere away from the tables, also tables are beatable and not full of bots, these are the things I think is important in a poker site.
