replying for a thread

Recommended Posts

When one is on another page than the first one the reply buttons are for a specific post. This will create unmeant replies to random users when one wants to reply in the thread or to the original poster.

I suggest there should be a general reply to thread button. The first post could also be visible on every page.

I noticed this in threads where the staff is taking a roll call for tickets etc. but it involves other thread in some amount.

I understand your reasoning, but I'm not really sure that it makes a difference. When you post in a thread, you'll automatically be subscribed to this thread (default setting), so in terms of the notifications, it shouldn't make a difference.

If people start changing the subject line of the post, it starts to make a difference, but currently not the case.

It's a little logical error I noticed. I have now raised the issue and I have no further need to continue it. I just leave an example that happened recently.

fkingun makes "a subthread" in tune with the thread but with different title. tableNOpopZZ replies to the thread at large by using the latest reply button, which makes erroneus reply to fkingun's post, then I reply to fkingun. This makes incorrect titles.

I quite keen on errors like these, and as you provide a channel to report them, I'll be surely contacting you in the near future. Until then, bye bye.
