THE 20% Challenge

Years ago before Twitch caught on for poker Jason Somerville did a run it up Challenge.

Starting with $50 he set out run his deposit up to 10k. The aggressive bankroll mngmgt should give me the motivation to see it through. He used bankroll management that was kinda aggressive, he could buy into anything for 20% of his bankroll at any time.

I've decided to have a go at emulating this, but starting with £5 as this is less than all new Unibet accounts receive for free so should be easily replicatable.  Given, my last couple of challenges have fizzled out. The aggressive bankroll mngmgt should give me the motivation to see it through.

I'm going to attempt to record every game, and as we're using a 20% bankroll strategy, this shouldn't be too hard.

The most important part of this challenge is the ability to move down, because with 20% bankroll mngmgt moving down and up will be a frequent event.

No idea how long it'll take to complete, but should be fun I think which is main thing.

Can also play sports and casino, but if doing that the bankroll mngmgt switches to 5%, so one twentieth of current bankroll.

Is this a challenge you are finally going to sit trough? ;)

I think the "blogs" topic is by now already the "20% Skillfullpoker topic "

And please no drunk posts anymore! ;) Stay away from your pc when drunk.

But good luck anyway!!

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

When i start play on unibet was the moment when i start to make a search on youtube about the games. First thing i found it was you playing some 5 max sng.i start google you and found your twitter and from there and now i found more than 200 chalenges with no succes.  Recently you start a challenge by playing poker and you succeded by playing on sports.i dont want to be rude but should do something that you will be able to finish.

Edit by Jeppe Unibet:  I edited the post as I felt it was over the line. To have opinions is fine, but to state what you believe to be other people's problems as fact - when it is only your own opinion - is not. As stated in our community guidelines, we want the community to be appropiate for everyone. Furthermore, we have a whole department(Responsible Gaming) dedicated to overlook all players and should there be any red flags they act accordingly.

I debate
Should I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is great
Or should I let the world see the real me and not hide this pain
I tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can't
I'ma probably die this way

Srsly he's a grown man and if he only does small deposits he can afford to lose he'll be fine. I agree on the no-alcohol while playing policy tho. But don't always take everything so serious guys.

GL with the challenge @SkilfulPoker and most emportantly have fun playing!

"200 chalenges with no success" - wow seems I've been busy polarbear ! If one of my failed challenges helped you to find Unibet then that's all good 👼

Regarding responsible gaming I never lose more than about 20% of my disposable income playing in any month, so we're good for the time being, and actually up a couple of K the last few months across all products on Unibet 👍

Haven't played at all on Unibet since I made this thread a week ago, and feel fresh and ready to start the challenge now:

start.png.93a39726eb150eb90e0958d6961383a6.pngAlso I just received a PM from Uhlen poker, and was fortunate enough to win 2 hours of coaching, in a monthly giveaway he is doing for his Twitch subscribers so that was very cool. So I'm going to think about what areas best to focus on and get back to Uhlen next week on that, but exciting stuff!

I'll be posting fairly regular updates for the 20% Challenge so let's see how this goes!

ack the challenge failed! so i will switch to trying to win the super brawl league now! :D

not usually being one to dwell on, or even respect negative energy but...

I'd just like to say , it always amazes me how people like polarbear will try to be nasty. I mean this is an online forum.

Online derision has always been lol. But seriously? this is a community,  i think the old adage if you don't have anything good to say, don't say it, is a great one.

I didn't actually read the original comments, but I can imagine. Just be happy and have a good life. We are on the planet a short time!
