Cindy_Essex
Hi All, As always when I post something, I have no doubt it has been covered thoroghly and the Cindy-come-lately is just treading a well-worn thread. However, min betting. What the what? I'm not very good at poker buuuuuuut, videos I've watched online telling me how to play basically say you shouldn't min-bet, or very rarely. But there seem to be a lot of player that min bet as a policy. Are they doing something I don't know about or what? Many thanks
sorcloud
The site is filled with full of fun players, they have no idea what pot-odds even mean, they just bet as they don't have an idea about what a correct betting strategy looks like, so you can take an advantage of it. ChapInAChair
Min-raising pre-flop when you're first to act is fairly standard in tournies (depending on effective stack sizes) but min-betting after the flop is awful 99.9% of the time. I know what you mean though, there's a lot of it about. It usually represents 2nd or 3rd pair, a draw or Ax in my experience.
