Stuck at login screen (poker client)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently registered with Unibet and want to start playing poker, but I can't. Here's the problem.

When I open the poker client and enter my username and password and click "Log In" nothing happens, the "Log In" buttons appears pressed (If I enter an incorrect password, than it promts an error).

I created a thread in the bug report forum, but it's not really getting any traction. Here's my Dxdiag system screenshot and logs:

I suppose you already tried a reinstall aswell?

For now I'd say, try playing in the browser, because wouldn't know what could help. I have it once or twice sometimes, but it normally works after restarting the app for me.

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

Web is also very problematic for me, because I keep getting this:

a6d7ddb2efd546bac8c8598b22fb51f2

And even if I wasn't getting this certificate error I'd still get blocked by my ISP. Concerning the certificate error, I'm not using antiviruses and I tried googling it and fixing (fixing date and stuff...), but nothing helped. When I activate VPN extension it loads the page without errors. Maybe this has something to do with my problem? I want to be able to use the poker client!

Unibet tech guys, please help!

P.S. But it's definitely not my internet connection, because I can login with my phone using WiFi. So something with the poker client and/or my system?

@MaskedCat Could you try clearing cookies in Internet Explorer before the following:

  1. Launch the client
  2. On the login screen, select country (Latvia in his case)
  3. Enter username and password and click Log In

If that doesn't work, we'll create a case with the poker developers and look into it from our end.

I can't delete all cookies from IE, so I manually checked for anything related to unibet and there are NO unibet cookies in IE (for what it's worth my main browser is Chrome).

Also I got a new bug now, white square instead of a login box:

a3d567c86b175aa941628a4c25c041a5

I can't figure out any changes that could have caused it. Maybe someone from poker dev team could help me/check my pc via TeamViewer?

I'm tilted beyond words. Two months have passed since I got this problem and started asking for help. Today I formated my drive and made a clean Win 7 install. Installed Adobe Flash, Air, Java, graphic drivers and C++ stuff that went with Unibet client. Have DirectX 11 as well. And I still can't login:

Can anyone provide actual help?

I'm terribly sorry for the missing update. Have asked the guys from the poker team to get back to me today.

Thanks for providing the details despite the lack of help from our side. As far as I can see, you've already posted all the info they need to investigate further.

I've been also chatting with live support and we've tried basically everything there is: cookies, browsers, firewalls and etc.

Perhaps one of your Tech guys can contact me via skype and we can look at my PC through TeamViewer? I'm available all day today!

@MaskedCat, could you please search for an application called "dxdiag". Open the application and take a picture of the tab called "Display". Also, try to login via this link and take a screenshot of what happens:

We really appreciate your help in resolving the problem.

@MarcoVCould it be that your Android App and Desktop/Web client use different login servers? And the latter are blocked by my ISP, when the former are not?

I am asking that because I can login to Unibet Android App using my WiFi, BUT I can't connect to the Web client on my PC UNLESS I turn on ZenMate (chrome VPN), after which I am able to login to the Web client. After that I was able to TURN OFF chrome vpn and use the web client...

Am I onto something?

This is basically my problem. Can't login from PC, CAN login from android using the same connection.

Worked around my problem the same why as the guy in the topic I linked.

Hi,

Still waiting for feedback from the developers.

Just to make sure am I correct in understanding that you can use the Windows client on VPN?

Thank you. I've been dealing with same problem for 2 months, contacted support and they asked me to clean IE cookies. I didn't try Android app. But today I tried a VPN login and worked as you said. Could turn off VPN after login too.
