Withdrawal/verification delay

Hi all,

I opened an account recently with unibet and had a pretty nice win so I requested a withdrawal. It was instantly put on hold and I was told I needed to verify the account. No problems there as I'm pretty sure that is standard practice all round. I sent a passport pic and a letter from my bank as well as the front/back of my depositing card.

The ID showed as accepted and verified but the others were still on hold after a couple of days. I went on live chat and was told I should send in a different proof of address and a clearer passport pic (even though it was shown as accepted strangely). I sent in a new utility bill I got and another clearer picture of the passport. It's now been about a week and there's still no update, the card pics and the proof of address section are still showing as "we are checking your documents". It says it should be done in 1-3 days but it's been much longer than that.

This makes me very uneasy as I've done everything asked of me, casinos/bookmakers stalling on verification and withdrawals can't be a good sign but I'm hoping this is just an admin issue or something. LC haven't been able to help or explain the situation so I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and how/when they were resolved? This is a lot of money to me and I could do with it ASAP.

Welcome to the community, @Smoran :)

First of all; congratz on the very nice win! 😀

I've had a look at your case, and all the documents look good to me - it's another department approving them though, so can't say for sure that they'll be approved. I'm not sure why the agent asked for another copy of the ID. I think he didn't see that it was already approved, but he was uncertain if the uploaded one was of a good enough quality, so he requested a new one, to avoid further delays. I'll check up on your case tomorrow afternoon and escalate it then, if the documents stil haven't been approved :)

As Customer Support should have informed you already, all the documents were approved, but we'll need just one more document from you. You'll find more information about this on the upload page as well as in the email you got from support :)

Thanks Stubbe, I've been away so hadn't got this until now but I've just sent the requested document, hopefully all sorted now :)

Having exact same issue. I don't own a laptop and I don't possess a recent bill as I do all of that online

Unibet repeatedly tell me on live chat that it's tough so I'm raising my complaint independently

Lol at the above. "My passport has expired and is rejected as a valid proof of ID" 🤣 "I don't have a single document that can prove my address - I don't have any internet, water or heat in my house, but I can play with Unibet" 🤣 it shouldn't matter if you do things online.

It's honestly pretty simple:
- Read the document requirement
- Send documents that meet said requirements
