Cancelled playthrough bonus and got "block"


Hi.

I cancelled my playthrough bonus back in the Summer and can't gain xp ever since. When contacted customer support through chat, I was told my playthrough bonus is "blocked" and it will remain like this until the end of the year. When I asked why, I got some rubbish response about Dutch law preventing irresponsible gaming, which is hillarious, because:

1- It wasn't an action innitiated by "the system". It was me, I cancelled the progress bar to start from scratch

2- If it was innitiatred by the system, why wasn't I notified?

3- The person I spoke through the chat claimed the "block" was activated in November, which is simply not true

4- Since I first registered on Unibet and started playing poker, I noticed that I'm not getting any xp. Then, when I contacted customer service through the chat, the person I spoke to fixed it immidieatly

5- I don't know about what law we're talking, but I'm registered on 4 Dutch gambling websites and I don't spend anymore money or time at Unibet than on the other 3. I stick to my spending limits, etc. 

It's not a matter of life and death, but it would be nice, if somebody could please lift this ban on me earning xp?

Think there's some confusion here. So, there are automatic bonus blocks which are triggered based on a detection model looking at a lot of different measures. I haven't looked up your account, but this is likely what support is talking about in your case.

This bonus block doesn't really matter for playthrough bonuses though. In NL, we basically only have the bonuses on first deposit/as a welcome offer. And support is right that this is due to local regulations 🙂
